It’s huge. I normally keep it in a closet when I’m not using it when I am not using it because it does take up a lot of space. It doesn’t get so hot on the outside that I’m worried about touching it and burning myself or damaging my counters. It isn’t loud but does make a little sound. I often forget I have it on. My house is filled with big jerky eaters. I dehydrated 6-9 lbs a week. We like it very dry, thin and simple with just salt. I don’t follow the directions in the book for jerky. I turn it all the way up and dehydrate it for much longer than directed to get crisp almost chip like jerky. It doesn’t take 8-9 hours like my 5 tray dehydrator I got from Walmart. I can easily dehydrate meat in 3 hours. I’ve had it for a couple of months and have used it a lot! The machine works great. It’s easy to use. And is easy to clean. When I received it, I washed it, then turned it on high for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell that I read about but didn’t experience. I love it. I hope it works a long time!

We tried a smaller dehydrator before purchasing this unit, but the smaller dehydrator didn't have sufficient capacity for our needs. This unit allows us to dry a fairly large quantity of food at once. After using this almost daily for a month, we're very happy with its performance. We very much like that this dehydrator has all metal components - no plastic. It's very simple to use and easy to clean, and as others have mentioned it's QUIET - the fans are effectively silent! The only suggested improvement would be the addition of a light switch, because if it's plugged in, the light is on. IMO That's a very minor issue - just unplug it when you're not using it.

I've had this Dehydrator for a year now. Made Jerky, Fruit Leather, and Treats for my dog. I use this every week and make a big batch. Clean up is easy. Straight forward to use. If you want to turn off the light in the machine there's a switch on the backside that you can turn off. I make alot of jerky every week and i sell it to friends, family, and co workers. No issues at all. I wish they had a bigger size for what i do. But for at home use its a good size.

I got this one, but I don’t like it didn’t come with silicone trays works good. I tried it out. Dehydrating garlic made my own garlic granulated very quiet easy to use problem. Is it too narrow should’ve got a wider one and not as tall this don’t work great for jerky. I mean it works well for jerky. Problem is cleanup. They don’t make the racks removable on the side side, rails pain in the butt to clean the side rails.

I took several photos because I want to write a review on this product. Mistakenly I didn’t checked the size of the machine before I purchased. This machine is pretty big and tall so it doesn’t fit on my counter top because not enough of space between wall cabinet and counter top so I had to put in the storage room which’s disappointing because I’m using dehydrator alot. But the quality is so good I don’t want to return it. I love the quality of machine. 1) alot of space. 2) air blow from the back (top and bottom 2 fans) so equally supply the airflow. 3) They come with alot of racks and it’s strong stainless made so it will less long time and dishwasher safe. 4) it also comes with bottom tray so I don’t have to worry about machine gets dirty and it’s easy to clean. 5) Temperature control is very good function and works great and what I love the most it has a automatic timer so I can set up the time and leave the house. 6) design and quality is excellent. It’s like commercial grade stainless machine. 7) I made chicken breast jerky for my dogs and it came out really nice. 8) Surprisingly this machine is extremely quite compared to my old plastic one. 9) I been using plastic made dehydrator for a long time but all the rack was broken because I put them in the dishwasher’s. This machine is made with stainless so I don’t have to worry about breaking from dishwasher. 10) I love the light switch so I can check my food easily. This machine deserves the 10 stars. It’s a good investment. It will less long time. Make sure to check the sizes before you purchase because this machine is big. Other then that, I strongly recommended.

The size of this dehydrator is sufficient for home use. I love the size and how quiet it is. On my first attempt I dried 9 apples, 4 bananas and a few figs. They turned out very good. The instructional booklet was very detailed to help me to be successful on my first attempt. I’m excited to dehydrate more. 10/4 update…Someone was asking about how many pounds this dehydrator holds. I just placed about 15 pounds of apples, sliced 1/4” . See photo attached.

I love this dehydrator! It is easy to clean and use. The outside was cool enough for me to touch while in operation. I would 1/4 turn rotate it as this seemed to give me the best even dehydration. The unit is made from very strong material, looks very nice and easy to operate. I would recommend using it outside if you plan on dehydrating onions because of the smell but otherwise the noise level is low and comfortable for inside use.
