I bought this model to be flexible for all the family to use, yet heavy enough it can take a punch or kick without having to chase it around. It fit that bill. I’m a bigger guy, 5’10” 280. Yes it is possible to smash this bag and move it. But for good solid hit and kicks in a cardio or in martial arts practice it stays where it should. I did opt to fill mine with 250lbs of playground sand, which is washed and dried. This keeps it planted. But if you need to move it into position to practice on, the full weight might be too much for some people. I would like to see Century make target sleeves for this wider bag. I opted to purchase good vinyl stickers to add targets to the bag. ... show more

took a LONG time to get the sand in the tiny hole, but once set-up, it worked pretty well. Didn't want to spend the $400+ on one of the better larger ones, but this was pretty good. looks and feels like it will take a beating for a long time as well. He says when he does some harder combos on it, the top does kind of come apart a bit, but otherwise it holds up perfectly. Definitely not a bad value ... show more

The instructions to help you follow what you need to do to use it for the impacts making sure that it is not you're not hitting it so hard knock off its base. I chose sand to use as its base because is allowed to use. The company said you could use sand or water. I used and it was easy to put into once you figured out your plan. You can only go up to 260 lb of weight inside the base I stopped at 250 lbs is enough. You are trying to protect yourself. I will use it show my family how to protect themselves in the real world. It was delivered by FedEx that got here on time. It was easy to manage once they delivered it. The company said it was about 22 lbs with the box. It was easy to move around either pick or you can use a dolly and move it around to where you want to move it to inside your home. It time to workout. ... show more

Great hitting surface but it will move for a medium height, heavy weight hitter. it'll need plenty of room and then you'll need to reposition it. I used 250lbs of medium grade sand(5x50lb bags) and a quickfill oil funnel to get it in the tiny filling hole. I hit pretty hard and I get about 20-30 good hard hits plus a lot of jabs before i have to reset it. Optimally, if you have enough room to circle around(which I do not) and hit it back the other way, it's the perfect bag. I'm using CAP EVA foam puzzle flooring, which seems to promote sliding, and I'm going to have to swap that out for some stickier vulcanized rubber flooring. But if you're gonna fill this with sand, an oversized quick-fill funnel is a must to maintain your sanity and not have more sand outside than inside. ... show more

My first bag ever. I’m quite happy with it. High quality and all as advertised I’m unhappy that it arrived about a week before a free shipping offer. Seems like the Company could give me a break here and offer a refund. No sympathy expected, however. Customer’s tough luck. Next time I will order maybe I’ll order by phone. 11/9 2001. Lovin this equipment. A relative of mine just now replaced a Wavemaster that he used all out for 20 years! Still disappointed that Marketing didn’t have the courtesy to respond to my latest inquiries. That’s only one part of this experience however. And certainly the least.
