I've only been using it for a few days, but so far it's holding up great & is doing everything a heavy bag should. I really like the metal loop & chain feature; this seems to be a lot sturdier than the sewn-on nylon straps I've seen on other bags. The real test for me will be how well it stands up to my sparring buddy, Sam the goat. I've got the bag hung in his enclosure & we box/headbutt together. The bag itself is fine. It's 100lbs of sand, leather, and padding. I punch it and it takes a punch. Can't ask for much more than that. The sand did shift during shipping so there is a hard spot but I think I can work it out. Doesn't get 5 stars because it says it comes with gloves and I received exactly zero gloves. Amazon was a pleasure to deal with and credited me the rough cost of what it will cost for me to replace the gloves with a pair of equal quality. Am I happy with the bag? Sure. Am I happy with the lack of gloves? No. ... show more

These are usually my favorite medium duty bags for the price. They go a few years before the internal sand bags break and the bottom gets too hard. Then, we take the sand out and use them for the smaller kids. The most recently purchased bag was assembled poorly. The sand bags are too close to the outer surface of the bag.
