The way the front poles are designed don't allow for them to swivel from side to side. The Gym is "almost nice" What I mean by that is my gym arrived. But was missing a floor plate. It strengthens and stabilizes the front pulley rods. (The ones that don't swivel) I called support several times now but have yet to see the missing floor plate. I'm tired of contacting support on this matter. So I'm writing my review on the gym. It's not complete. Good support is going to be integral for this purchase. There are other crossover machines for half the price but I wanted This one! Maybe I can go to a welder or a home Depot to find something to stabilize my gym once and for all. Doesn't seem like anyone at support cares to help fulfill my purchase order. Update: woo-hoo! I received the missing foot plate! I put it on, tightened up the rest of the nuts & bolts. I've always wanted one of the swingarm arm cable machines. They're muct more versatile than traditional cable machines. It took almost 2 weeks to receive mine, but that's not the manufacturer's problem. The 330 pound box comes via a freight carrier that is in no hurry. Excellent step-by-step instructions are included in the kit. The unit went together without any problems in about 2 hours. Laying all of the parts out first to include the nuts/bolts really helped. I used my own tools, but a few tools are included in the kit. Quality construction overall. I wouldn't rate it gym quality in terms of robustness, but it's certainly very good for a home gym. I wish it was a little taller, but that's a minor detail. I skipped the tablet install. It isn't something I'd use. The cables operate very smoothly and the weight stack is good enough for anybody other than Arnold. The only thing I wish it had was the ability for the arms to pivot in and out. Be aware that the width is fixed. The arms will pivot up and down and they can be raised or lowered at the attachment points but they don't pivot in or out. ... show more
