So these do straighten fins. Since different fins have different spacing between, the variety was needed. They do not go deep enough to clean all the way between the fins, front to back, and if you're not careful, you can also tear the fins off.

More likely to cause damage than fix it. The colorful plastic pieces do not work, especially if there are more fins per inch. The hooks on these tools don't easily slide between the fin blades and even if you have the patience to slip each blade into place it's very difficult to slide the tool down the rest of the way. The metal tool in this kit had a bit more use but not by much. I was able to use it to help straighten out the very top edge of the fin blades, but it does not work well for removing debris

Best results on a window unit a/c using the stainless comb. Plastic tools did not work. Teeth would not go into fins. Check out how to videos on YouTube before you start.
