They do give you two visuals in instructions for wiring for those that may not be certain of the wiring process. Definitely put the blades on first before hanging the motor. I usually put blades on after but it's a little difficult to get behind the motor after you hang with where the screws are located. Don't worry, it's light enough to hang with the blades. The light is very bright and lights up my office insanely well. I highly recommend this as similar models at retailers are closer to a price of 185. No issues with parts, quiet fan, and you get both sets of screws for mounting to wood or already exisiting fan fixture. Definitely plan your mount and wiring with the remote receiver in place, it will make life much easier since it's big but will fit no problem. Going to get additional for our smaller bedroom to match.

This is a nice fan that seems to be fairly well designed. It is quiet and moves a decent amount of air. Pros: A nice, attractive and quiet fan. Cons: -Installation directions were abysmal. Once you figure it out it is ok. -Wires that plug into transmitter from the electrical box need to be a bit longer. It is too tight of a fit to get them to connect and then slide into the cradle. -The light seems to be about 800 lumens. The manufacturer does not list the lumens nor did they properly answer the question when someone inquired in the questions. Neutral: The directions for installing the fan through Tuya for smart functions are not in the directions. I reached out to support which starts with Amazon (who like me could not find the directions) and then was given info to reach the company. They responded within one day and solved the issue. It turns out that the Alexa/Tuya/smart install is buried in one of four videos. NOTE: It appears that they have recently updated the video to the title "Smart Function Use" which would have saved me the need to contact the company. Customer ratings by feature: Remote Control 4.5 out of 5. Works well Easy to use: 4.5 out of 5 Noise level: 4.5 out of 5 Pretty darn quiet Easy to install: 1 out of 5 (needs better directions). I did manage to find an install video on a similar fan somewhere on the web and ultimately that made things a bit easier. Company needs to have an install video. Light: 3 out of 5. Kind of small and there is no rating listed for the lumens. I estimate it at maybe 800 or a little more lumens. The light is small so it cannot spread the light out over a larger distance. Also, there does not appear to be the option to set it for one color, i.e. soft white out of the three settings. It is dimmable and the dimming feature works well. Value for money: 4 out of 5. Look for a sale or a discount coupon. Smart Features: 4.5 out of 5 (works pretty good once you get it working) and the install is basically three steps. 1. Install Tuya - register it - run it 2. Turn on power to fan at switch and turn fan and light on with remote. 3. Long press the button 6H on the remote. Tuya finds and installs the fan. Warning: it seems to take awhile for it to finish the install. It looks like the install is frozen/not responding. Be patient it eventually finishes. Then you must press done to finish install. Customer Support: 4.5 out of 5 It was fast but it was kind of smart aleck. The response was "Have you tried the video." If it was labeled properly and not buried in with 3 others, I would have found the video for smart install! Overall I would recommend the fan. I wish the company would put Alexa features on a 42 inch fan as well.

I purchased this fan last year but had a delay in getting it actually installed. It fits well in my home office, both in the sleek but slightly whimsical style and size. Even though it's only 30", it definitely has the ability to circulate the air and cool things down in a room that has several electronics (including one tower and two laptops) always running. I did have some issues getting it to connect to the app. The seller was amazing and helped me figure out how to get it to enter pairing mode. Now I've got it added to the rest of my smart home stuff, so super stoked! In case anyone else needs instructions on how to get it to enter pairing mode - 1. Shut the power off at the light switch. Wait for about 30 seconds to ensure the power is off, fan has completely stopped. 2. Turn on the power. 3. Within the first 10 seconds of power being on, press and hold down the 6H button on the remote. 4. This should cause the light to start flashing, which indicates pairing mode. 5. Open the Tuya app and click the Add Device button, it should be able to automatically find it.

I now have two of these: one in kitchen, one in bedroom. It's sleek, easy-to-use, quiet---I love it (which is why I purchased a second one after the first). But, we NEED to be able to purchase *just* a new remote! I can't find any way to contact the Seller---it says "Amazon" under Customer Service. I've tried to contact Amazon via phone and chat, and just got "technical difficulties". I'm willing to *buy* a new remote (I'm not expecting one for free). I just need to have an extra on hand (for both my fans), since I keep dropping them (sigh) and one of these days they won't work any longer. (Although they have survived multiple drops already!) Please help! Someone else had asked in these comments, and there was a URL given---but when I went to that URL, buying was not an option. Please offer a replacement remote on this listing!! Thanks for any help you can provide.

The fan looks great, moves a lot of air. The light works great, different colors and brightness. The remote is intuitive and easy to use making the high adjustability super functional. The problem i had is that i wired it in a way that i mostly use the wall switch so that the light and fan will come on to the previously used settings, but in doing so there is a 3 second delay from the time i flip the switch until the light and fan actually come on. This is pretty annoying. A way to bypass the issue is to leave the switch on and then use the remote to turn the light and fan on/off but it just is not what im used to. Not sure why the remote box takes 3 seconds to process the information from the light switch to actually power the fan and light.
