The light can be adjusted for brightness and color temperature by either a handy remote control or via an app for your phone. It was easy to link it to Alexa and you can control both the fan and light with your voice or via the Alexa app. The fan is reversible for seasonal use. Bought two to install outside under our covered deck. They look amazing and the installation was super easy! The hook to help hold up the light to install the wiring was a nice touch! It makes the installation a breeze! I can setup the remote to control both lights at the same time. I also downloaded the app to control both lights. Good product. Comes assembled (which is a big plus) and the ring is solid and not broken up like some of the other fan-lights like this. It's quiet, and the lights are bright. Only thing that I found out after the fact is that when you turn on the light from the wall switch, the fan does NOT go on. It requires using the remote, which adds another step.
