I bought this because the Winter in California is a little bit chilly. I like everything, it is easy to control the heat and the time and it is possible to make it turn or not. It is enough for a studio of about sf 500.

I ordered the Cegsin Space Heater, 85°Oscillating Portable Electric Heater to save money during the winter months. Our furnace runs on propane which can be expensive to keep our home warm during the winter months. We have a couple of small heaters that we use in the bedrooms to help keep us warm while conserving propane. We have this little heater in our master bedroom and find it works successfully at keeping us warm. The heater came with detailed instructions to operate the different settings without difficulty. It has a "touch screen" feature for power, oscillating, and night light. There is a knob to set the level of heat and timer. I would say the knob was a bit confusing at first, but that is what the instructions are for. In order to adjust the temperature level, the knob needs to be turned clockwise, while adjusting the timer it needs to be turned counterclockwise. I love that this little heater oscillates! The night light would be my second favorite feature as its purpose is not to light up your room, but instead to help you locate the heater in the dark for adjustments. I've included pics of the nightlight feature with the lights on and off. This unit also has a tip over feature that only works when the unit is actually tipped over. I own another small heater that turns off when you pick it up because of the sensors on the bottom of the unit. Staying on while picking it up with use of the handle on the back, allows you to readjust the position without worrying that you will have to reset the features. This company definitely put a lot of thought into the features to include to make this portable little heater accommodating for a variety of environments. **** Update **** The company saw my initial review and offered to replace my defective unit. I received the replacement unit today, tried it out and it appears to be working as it should. Since the company stood behind their product and offered to replace the broken unit, I'm revising my review and star rating. Apparently, I've received a defective unit. It won't turn on 9 out of 10 times. I did get it to come on once, but the tip-over protection didn't work. I picked it up while it was running, and it stayed running. Also, the time I was able to get it to turn on, the light function would not work. It appears that the unit I have may have taken an impact because the top section is loose and the bottom that has the tip protection doesn't seem to have any type of "click" sound when setting it down nor does it depress to indicate the unit is standing upright. I tried to send an email to address in the instructions to let them know it isn't working and have not heard back and it's been over a week now. ... show more

I got the Cegsin Space Heater to provide a little assistance in my home office, as it just doesn't get heat like the rest of the rooms. I didn't want a large unit, just something I could under my desk or next to it and not take up a lot of space. The size of the Cegsin Space Heater is perfect for what I needed. in addition to the small size being a big "win" for me, the fact that it oscillates was a big bonus. The heater has a power button, a control knob, and an oscillating/night light. There are four different timer settings when turning the control knob (2 to 8 hours) and then when turning to the right you get the three different heat settings (High, Med, Low) and fan setting. Let me just say, I was blown away about how quickly this small heater heated up. They aren't joking when the say "two seconds." I plugged it, hit the power button (which happened to already be on the High level, and heat was hitting me immediately. There is hand notch that is in the back of the heater which allows for ease in carrying it. Don't let the size of this heater fool you...it definitely packs a punch (and a quick punch at that)! ... show more

This is a very small but powerful heater. It oscillates, has a timer for number of hours you want it on and can just be a fan with no heat. The fan is not very powerful, so not sure how beneficial that feature is. Has a convenient cutout in the back to move it around. Overall great for the price.

I ordered this heater as a replacement for my old, bulky portable heater, and I'm impressed so far! It's small and compact, taking up much less space than my previous one. Learning to adjust the settings took a few days, but it quickly became easy. The heater offers three heat fan speeds, a sleep timer, oscillating motion (Panning mode), and a fan-only mode. I like how quickly it warms up my bathroom – just a few minutes on and I have a warm, cozy space to get ready in the mornings. One safety feature I particularly appreciate is the tip-over protection; it automatically shuts off if it tips over, which gives me peace of mind. I tested this feature several times, and it works flawlessly. It also has a nice LED light that works well and can be used as a night light for additional safety. Overall, I think this is a great value for the money and highly recommend it for small or medium-sized rooms, especially for those who prioritize safety and portability. ... show more

    • Impressive heating in a small package
This space heater does advertise a lot for its size and price but it does meet them. It heats up very fast on startup, covers a lot of area so you can feel it even a distance away, and it just feels like it does a lot more than it should be able to. Definitely heed the warnings though. Make sure the plug is secured fully into the outlet directly, keep it away from flammable things, don't solely rely on emergency features, ensure that it's always within observation range, and unplug it when it's not in use. It's not fully computerized so like most heaters if something fails then it doesn't have a way to tell you other than through resulting damages. I do like it a lot and have had no issues with it.
