The 5-10 minutes to put it together is, of course, utter nonsense, and it probably took that long to unpack the two boxes. But there were only sixteen screws and eight parts - the four legs and four tapered metal pieces. And no directions. There were rumors of a video somewhere, but nothing packed with the chair. But easy enough to figure out, screw the legs on, screw the tapered metal pieces on, only one place they'd fit, slide the arms onto the base, slide on the back, place the cushion against the back, and you're done. Easier than IKEA. Being short, I do need a pillow or two, and yes, it's firm, but spacious and comfortable and the cats like those wide, flat arms. Speaking of which, before it was a week old, I looked back from the door and saw the kitten peeing dead center on the seat. I blotted and wiped and worried about the possibility of a mark. No mark. Absolutely no indication that anything bad ever happened. That's impressive! I love this chair. I'm sorry I dont need another one. (My husband has a super comfortable chair of his own, quite new. There's some indication he sits in mine after I've gone to bed.) ... show more

Arms are wide enough I can rest my iPad on it, back is like a bouncy but supportive pillow, gray fabric is lovely and neutral, black metal legs are sturdy and stylish, easy easy easy to assemble with two people. Easy to set up, color is accurate, seems to be sturdy. I weigh 150 @ 5'3 and I am able to sit Indian style comfortably. Better quality than expected and I thought it was going to be stiff because of some of the reviews, but it's not as stiff. It has some cush to it. Pretty chairs but terrible pillows. Loved the color and super comfortable. But super disappointed that the pillow for the back isn't evenly filled. Both chairs I ordered were like this. And it's a cheap polyester batting inside not a pillow. Also very wrinkled. Came completely unassembled. You have to attach the sides and the back. Takes 30 minutes per chair. ... show more

This chair looks great. The seat itself is stiff and not super cozy but it breaks in and holds its shape. Not oversized in where it could hold multiple people but larger than the standard armchair Overall, easy to put together and good value.
