The 5-10 minutes to put it together is, of course, utter nonsense, and it probably took that long to unpack the two boxes. But there were only sixteen screws and eight parts - the four legs and four tapered metal pieces. And no directions. There were rumors of a video somewhere, but nothing packed with the chair. But easy enough to figure out, screw the legs on, screw the tapered metal pieces on, only one place they'd fit, slide the arms onto the base, slide on the back, place the cushion against the back, and you're done. Easier than IKEA. Being short, I do need a pillow or two, and yes, it's firm, but spacious and comfortable and the cats like those wide, flat arms. Speaking of which, before it was a week old, I looked back from the door and saw the kitten peeing dead center on the seat. I blotted and wiped and worried about the possibility of a mark. No mark. Absolutely no indication that anything bad ever happened. That's impressive! I love this chair. I'm sorry I dont need another one. (My husband has a super comfortable chair of his own, quite new. There's some indication he sits in mine after I've gone to bed.) ... show more

Purchased this as a chair for my bedroom and absolutely love it. The fabric is high quality and the chair is solid. I have put together many an item from Amazon and this was - by far- the easiest... Just a couple of screws and it was good to go. The seat is extra wide which is perfect for sitting criss cross or stacking laundry (we all know that's what bedroom chairs are for!). Got the light gray and the color is really pretty. All in all, very satisfied with this purchase. If it came in a blue, I would be getting one for the guest bedroom. ... show more

I received these chairs 1st week of February 2025. And so glad bought them. Was easy to put together. They holding up well. Everyone that come to visit love them. They say ooh wow love how roomy and wide they, how comfortable. Plus they are a good height when sitting, cushion is thick, not too firm but good feel, and not low.
