I gave this mixer 5 stars after using it for the first time to make several cakes today. It’s powerful and not too heavy. Overall, it does seem cheaply made, I don’t know how long it will last. I’ll be able to tell more about that after the upcoming holiday baking seasons have past. It was inexpensive compared to others, especially for 400W so if it last a year I’ll be happy. And, I like it much better than my Cuisinart hand held mixer that was $90, it does a much better job. Update it’s still going strong and I love it. Thinking of ordering another one!

What I like when compared to my old mixer: *Longer beaters prevents the batter from splattering all over the mixer. *I was able to rest the mixer on the bowl and it stayed put! *Cord stays out of the way!! Omg this is so great. It didn't drag through my bowl once! *9 speeds vs 5, but the low speed is actually low. *When you press the off button it saves the speed you were at, when you turn it back on the speed will be the one you last selected. The storage container is so handy. Love this feature. I can't find a single thing I dislike about this mixer. It's a great upgrade from the one I had. I did notice that the handle heats up when mixing thicker batter, but it didn't skip a beat.

After trying other brands I finally found a hand mixer I really like. The slow speed actually is slow, unlike others that claim to be. It has beaters, dough hooks and a whisk in a compact, handy carrying case. It's powerful enough to do whatever you need to and it's wonderfully lightweight :)

Had to replace an older portable mixer and thought this would be nice with the storage and extra dough and whisk. Beaters are small compared to my old one. Harder to get mix off with a regular spatula. Not as powerful but for cake it was fine and it definitely had a slow speed where you could get things mixed up. I might like it better with time and more use but my initial opinion is adequate but not great.

All the parts, including the cord, fit in the carrying cases that SNAPS onto the mixer. There was one other brand we tried that didn't SNAP together. With THIS ONE, you can lift the handle and walk away with it... your parts stay put.
