Set up was a breeze, took 15 minutes, tops! Once assembled the frame is very sturdy. It does not wobble or squeak, when you move around. I did purchase the 18” high one, as this is in a spare bedroom, where we want to store some little used items. So that height is great for sliding boxes underneath. When we did place the 14” mattress on top the frame, it makes for a pretty high sleeping position. Fortunately for us, the primary user is our 6’3” son, when he comes home for a visit, several times a year. Would be difficult for a young child or short adult, to easily get onto the bed. I’d definitely buy this brand again, and it was nice that it came in a Twin XL, which makes it long enough for a tall person, and yet uses less overall space than the queen size mattress set, it replaced.

I have four beds on platform frames... two queen, one king and this twin. The queens and king frames are all two setparate frames, that you attatch to gether to make the frame big enough. This twin frame is more sturdy than any of the others I have purchased. It can handle a great deal of weight and still feels extremely solid. It is a great frame for storing things under also. We store luggage under it when we are not using them. It is a great frame!

Instructions were simple. Did need a hammer to get the middle bar to go in and align with the holes it would not just slide in. Me my son and daughter all laid on it total about 500 pounds and it didn’t wobble or anything. Slept on it one night. Seems be quieter. And sturdy. Especially for the price.

So I took a leap of faith because this bed had no reviews... I put it together in about 30 mins by myself (minus my husband moving our king mattress out of the way for me) it was fairly easy to put together and all the tools were included! Me (250lbs) and the baby (35lbs) have flopped around on it for the last 3 hours and it doesn't budge! Update* we have had it 2.5 months now and my husband is 300lbs and a giant kid that flops onto the bed instead of laying down like a normal human this thing is still sturdy!!! No squeaky noises either! We did have a problem with the mattress dipping between the last slat and the end of the frame so I just put a thin sheet of wood board there and problem solved!
