As an artist & movie aficionado this projector checks 2 boxes. Movies: First off, compared to my $2K+ UST laser projector the quality is amazing. With its' built in apps and ability to keystone and adjust in other ways this works amazing (again...give this is less than 10 percent of the price). So if you're wanting a decent project check this out. For the UI/UX I give this an A-. Art: Compared to the compact, mini bulb projectors & mirror image reflect this is the best. I still need to dabble more, however I could never get the art program app to work. Nevertheless I was still able to quickly set up and adjust the image so that I can get a trace outline. The brightness less is an average lighting was impressive. I like that I don't have to do this in the dark. The scalability appears impressive, while I generally don't paint beyond 2x3 formats, I understand this can expand to 100" +. It's compact size is a nice plus too. Verdict: 2 thumbs up. I recommend for both movies and art projection.

I am so excited to use this for my art projects! This has been a purchase I’ve been eager to make! I’m really pleased with the clarity and the projection size and ability of this. I still haven’t used it for art, but I did a practice run on the wall from about 10 feet away. It was large enough to do a mural. The image obviously gets sharper the closer to the item it is. Great deal and it is nice and compact.

This is the least intuitive projector for drawing and other art mediums, save your money. The focus is terrible, the settings make no sense, even after messing with it for a while its impossible to keep it consistent. Would not buy again.

The quality of the projector is pretty good and it has a lot of included apps for video, media, etc. However, I bought this for use as an Art Projector for translating media from my phone to canvas, tracing, etc. For that, I ran into some challenges and limitations. It was very challenging to connect my phone to the device to share photos or mirror my screen. This was likely due to some incompatibility of my wifi but the fact that it didn't play nicely or work was frustrating. The only way I could connect the two was via mobile hotspot. The seller was willing to work with me though, which I appreciated. Hopefully your internet will work with it or they can push out an update. Then the included Caydo art app is honestly pretty bad, basic, and limited. Images cant be expanded larger than the tiny fraction of the screen shown or stretched dimensionally. As if anyone would only want to cast an image onto 50% of their canvas and just leave most of it empty? Very strange and short-sighted. Please improve this. But the auto adjusting of the projector is pretty nice, I guess.

The projector delivers good overall image quality and comes with a solid selection of built-in apps for streaming videos and other media. However, I purchased it primarily as an art projector for transferring images from my phone to canvas, tracing, and similar projects, and I encountered some limitations. One challenge was connecting my phone to the projector. Sharing photos and screen mirroring proved difficult, likely due to a compatibility issue with my Wi-Fi network. Regardless of the cause, the setup process was frustrating, and the only reliable way I could connect the devices was through a mobile hotspot. Hopefully, future updates will improve compatibility and make the connection process more seamless. Another drawback is the included Caydo art app. It feels very basic and limited in functionality. Images cannot be enlarged beyond a small portion of the projected screen, nor can they be stretched or adjusted proportionally to fit a larger canvas. It seems counterintuitive for an art projector to restrict users to projecting an image onto only a fraction of their workspace while leaving much of the canvas unused. This is an area that could benefit greatly from improvement. That said, the projector's automatic image adjustment features work quite well and are a nice convenience.

This projector is great for both movies and art projects. The picture quality is surprisingly good for the price, and it's easy to adjust and set up. Watching movies is enjoyable, and the built-in features make it simple to use. I bought this more specifically for an art project and found that it's much easier to work with than traditional tracing projectors. I was able to quickly project and resize images for tracing, and it's bright enough to use without sitting in a dark room. Overall, I highly recommend this projector for anyone looking to enjoy movies or project artwork. I thought it was a good value and most importantly, easy to use.

Overall, decent projector, easy to use and functional. Made art projects much easier. However, quality components are an issue. 2 months after one year warranty expired it’s unusable thanks to a brown spot that now appears in the center of the projected image. Apparently it’s a common burned polarizer issue. Most troubling aspect is it was only unboxed in September, so only lasted 8 months of sporadic use. If you buy one, make sure you get the 2 year protection plan because the company will only offer you 10% off for a new one even thought it barley lasted over a year.
