  • Cute Astronaut Man Cosmic Projector
Color: White
I've been looking for a cute little cosmic projector and came across this little dude. He's adorable and does the job well. There's different kinds of settings so that the rotation can be slowed down or sped up, color changes, and whether or not you want the "stars" on or not. The stars are a green laser pinpricks that scatter all over your ceiling and sometimes I kind of wonder if my neighbors can see them go through my curtains lol. I keep this in my bedroom which is small and I have it sitting on top of my side table. It's at a good distance from my ceiling that it covers practically the entire room. I like that it comes with a remote, but in the event the remote is out of reach, the astronaut's backpack conveniently has buttons you can access easily to change functions. The little moon night light that he's holding is a cute addition and you can also change the color of it. His head/helmet is detachable via magnet which seems weird at first, but if you're not needing to, there's no reason to take it off the body. I guess if you want to decorate it as a decapitated astronaut you can. I am not sure if the unit will function without the head on top though. I have not tried. It is fairly lightweight and I was actually kind of shocked that it didn't weigh more. It also has auto turn off functionality that you can set. I think if it starts getting too warm or overheating, it also turns off on it's own which is a nice feature. Finally, it's pretty durable for the time that I have had it. It's fallen off my side table and on the floor, but all the functionality is still there and nothing is broken. Some things that I wish could be adjusted is the stars. I wish there was a blinking function to them. The current function ability is that all the stars collectively fade in and out or you just turn them off. If they were to kind of blink individually to have the effect of them "sparkling" slowly here and there, that would've been nice. The cosmic blob also has about 3 speed functions and I wish the slowest was a tad bit slower than it is. Sometimes if I stare at it too long, it kind of makes me a little dizzy. I also wish the fade of colors into each other was a little bit more slower and cohesive. Otherwise, this is a great little projector and I love using it. It's great for a gift or for yourself and just adds a little joy in an everyday mundane kind of life. Little things that keep me happy. ... show more

  • 2 years in, still love it!
Color: White
Ive had this astronaut for almost two years. It has gone through several moves and temperatures. Overall, the only thing that bothered me was losing the remote to it once! Ever since then…well yeah it’s been gone. However! No fear! They sell replacement remotes for ppl like me who lose their things that easily or for those who simply just need a new remote. Nonetheless, it’s nice and bright. Has beautiful nebulae. Many scattered stars. The nebulas also move uniquely never uniform. Overall, it’s worth the money and CAN withstand anything move or two…or even three and four! ... show more

  • No need to visit a planetarium anymore
Color: ‎Blue Pro
This is easy to set up, angle in your preferred direction, and it produces clear images of stars and nebulae. There are several color options, and you can switch between viewing nebulae, viewing stars, or viewing both. The lights aren’t harsh, but they are soft and relaxing. I keep it on a timer to help me sleep. It comes with a hand controller, but I think it might be hanging out with the dustballs under my couch. You can manually turn it on or off, though the buttons are a bit cumbersome to see and feel. Some people might find it annoying that the head can flop over since it’s held by a wire, but most of the time this happens because of curious pets, not because it falls on its own. ... show more

  • So cool!
Color: ‎Blue Pro
This product is the best! We’ve had it for over a year now and it works great. It does time out after 3 hours so that took some getting used to for my son but we still love it!

  • if you're contemplating getting this; do it :]
Color: White
I've always wanted one of these, and I am beyond happy with what I got. The lights: The lights get really bright, but they can be dimmed with the remote. Brightness is 5/5 ☆ Galaxy: It does spin around. You can use the remote to make it static so it doesn't move and you can change the speed to slow, medium, or fast. You can also change the colors. The independent colors (in which you can only change with the remote) are red, green, and blue. You can mix them together with the remote, but you can also change the mixture of colors with the first button on the back of the astronaut. I'd say the colors are 4/5 ☆ I'm happy with the colors, but it be nice to have more options. stars: you cannot do anything with the stars except for turning them off and on. You can't dim them, you can't change speed or rotation. The stars do fade in and out. it goes from extremely bright, to completely gone over and over again. brightness of the stars: 5/5☆ stars itself: 4/5☆ I just wish there were settings we could do with those, like keeping them static or changing the brightness. The nightlight: I personally don't prefer the nightlight (which is the moon the little astronaut is holding.) There are definitely a large group that like the nightlight, I just prefer everything to be as dark as possible. You can change the color of the nightlight on the remote and you can turn off the nightlight from the second button you see on the back of the astronaut (or hold down the button you use to change the color to turn it off). nothing much said about it. It's pretty bright, but not ridiculously bright. Truly, it would be a good nightlight for kids or just people who want minimum lighting. People often talk about how with this specific light, the galaxy is too small. If you have a really big room, yes. It'd probably be a little small for your liking. If you have a medium or small room, this does pretty damn well. The brightest part is definitely more clustered in the middle, but it does spread the faded parts out pretty far. The stars cover the entire room. Not sure if that applies for big rooms, but with my medium room, the stars cover the entire ceiling and goes down the walls a little bit too. Update!! I'm not sure if I'm just a little slow for not realizing or what, but I've now noticed, the further away the projector is from the area it's projecting onto, the bigger the projection itself is. So if you think the galaxy is too small on the ceiling (or wherever you're facing it), just set it on a lower surface, like a small table, stool, or even just the floor, then the projection covers more surface! Overall, I'd definitely give this a 4.8/5☆ Based on all I've said, if you want a galaxy/star projector and you've had no experience with any other, I'd recommend this one 100% It's pretty cheap compared to others and it works really good. Hope this was helpful ♡ (remember not to look directly into the projector as it could hurt your eyes.) ps. This does come with instructions that are really easy to understand. (update:) I've had this light for a year now and it works just as well as the day I got it. It's still just as bright, no issues, hasn't given out or anything. Definitely worth it. ... show more
