I really like this fountain a lot. So much so that I bought a second one for a friend. It really is silent and my cats actually drink from it. It does start making a little noise when the water level is low, but I appreciate that as a good reminder to refill it. I fill it with already filtered water and use the included filters, but the water does get the slightest bit cloudy when it's time to refill. I take it apart and clean it every time I refill because it is so easy to do. The water level gets low enough to start making noise after about 6 to 7 days with my cats. This hasn't changed even though I'm down to one cat now, sadly. My fountain came with a note to email and they would send free filters and I'm very pleased to report that the company followed through. I've had the fountain for over six months and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Bought in May, still working great. Small but good amount of water. It’s much quieter than my last one, even when lower than normal. My animals all seem to like to! Easy to clean (I’ve even cleaned parts in dishwasher top rack though I’m sure it’s not recommended….) and i especially love that the moter part is able to be taken apart so you can get every piece clean. My old fountain was so gross as you couldn’t clean it completely! Only complaint at first was overflowing it often when refilling, but i finally figured out the max i can pour into it 😂 good fountain overall.

I'm thrilled to share my good experiences with this stainless steel cat water fountain. I had one for Rudy the Cat and he liked it. It was inexpensive plastic, and it lasted about 18 months, but Rudy liked it, so I upgraded to this stainless steel model. We are both very pleased with it. The old plastic fountain admitted light, so algae built up. This new stainless steel model keeps the water in the tank completely in the dark. It is SILENT, unlike the plastic fountain. It was very easy to set up and Rudy took to it right away. He missed his fountain and was very glad to receive this upgrade. He can drink from the falling stream of water or from the shallow saucer beneath it. He does both; the two methods require two very separate approaches and he switches back and forth. I really believes he drinks more water from a fountain than from a plain saucer, and the vet tells me that's generally a good thing. The only drawback -- I can't call it a complaint -- not yet, anyway -- is there is no indicator for the amount of water in the tank. (Think of the window on the side of your coffee maker's tank.) I have to completely remove the top plate to see if I need to add water, and removing that plate means moving the saucer, fountain tube, half a cup of water, and the pump suspended beneath. It feels a bit cumbersome, but I'm sure that it will become easy and routine. If that turns out NOT to be the case, I'll be back to edit this review. All in all? 9.5 out of ten. Rudy the Cat concurs with this assessment (and he helped me write this review).

Update: Purchased June 2023 and it stopped working January 2025. It wasn't super expensive but I did change the water and never ran it empty so I expected it to last a bit longer. Oh well... Original: I was going to use this to replace my cat Jack's plastic fountain because it's so quiet. I also like the look of stainless steel and this fountain doesn't have as many corners, nooks, crannies to clean as the square shaped plastic one I wanted to replace. But alas, Jack pouts and whines when you move or replace his stuff. I even tried having them both side by side. He was having none of it. (He's the kind of guy who will watch you pick up all the toys he barely plays with anymore and put them in a basket...Then, he'll climb in the basket, get the toys and put them back in the same places...usually in a hallway or other places with high traffic. 😕) So I left the old one up, moved this one to a new location and now spoiled brat Jack has two fountains. He finally started drinking from it a week or two after it was up but there's something about it (maybe the reflection of the stainless) that makes him keep dipping his foot in it like he's checking the depth. I hate it when he sticks his foot in it because in my mind that's contamination that's beyond just drinking from it. I envision the water turning into "germ soup" every time he dies that but overall I like it and it's a keeper. It's whisper silent and so peaceful to look at for me. So, it's an occasional drinking fountain/foot bath for him and a nice relaxing water feature for me.

I have own this cat water fountain for 1 year or so now, and it has made cat maintenance much easier. I have 1 cat so a full tank can last me maximum two weeks or so, but I usually clean the fountain and change filter every week. My cat enjoy stainless steel without additional lighting, so this product works well. Recently the pump malfunctioned and no longer push water to dispense, so I contacted the customer service through email. They replied timely, helped me trouble shoot with video instructions, and since it cannot fix the pump they sent me a replacement. 10/10 customer service. I am a fan for your team now.
