The media could not be loaded. Really love it! Doesn’t make a sound.. truly. I had doubts but even in a silent home there is no sound of water running or motor hum. I did place on a thin rubber circle (jar opener) underneath it just for more counter grip ans I have a cat who pulls dishes forward with her paw, and that rubber may contribute as well to complete lack of noise. The filtering block is great and even enough space that I can easily add in an additional layer of filter gauze on top of the replaceable filter piece to catch more gunk/saliva that I can rinse easily (I use quilt batting as it’s great for trapping particles in water and used by me for years in aquariums). One con, the speed and volume of the water running out if the nozzle is a bit fast, and no way to adjust it which intimidated my cat who likes a slow trickle but I’m hoping he figures out how to take smaller amounts when using it. The extra gauze and a piece of plastic to block the inside intake filter screen helps somewhat with fast volume but I would’ve loved/prefered an adjustment of volume option, though most cats most likely wouldn’t have an issue, mine however is the brightest :) and has just been using slow sink dribble for years so this is a bit of an issue. Overall: I give the overall quality, ease of cleaning, filtration apparatus/quality, look, price and noise all an A+, would buy again in a heartbeat. Only con is the volume of water coming from the nozzle and the somewhat difficult removal of the top plate while carefully trying to run water in it back into bowl and not spilling on counter. Though my guess is most of this type of filter has similar issue.. also a plus is if the pump stops for whatever reason, there is still about a 1/4 inch of water sitting in the top for cat to have until you fix the issue and doesn’t leave them without a drop.

Much quieter than I expected! You cannot hear it at all, only sometimes and it’s just a small drip but the majority of the time you can’t even tell it’s there! glad I went with this one, it’s quiet, a great size, easy to clean, and smaller than I expected. However it holds a lot of water and is super easy to set up! Unfortunately my cat did not really use it, he wasn’t interested and ended up not drinking water from it at all, so I’ll be returning it. However if you know for a fact your cat will love a fountain, this one is great and I would get it!

We had previously used a 'Drinkwell' fountain, for our now aging kitty - this one worked flawlessly for years, but was constructed from plastic and I used to hate cleaning it, because it was always slimy, when cleaning it up, even using filtered water and swapping/refilling the water supply regularly and pulling it apart to clean it regularly. We really like the simplicity of set up, use and overall operation of this steel fountain. Our cat really seems to enjoy it, as we had left his old fountain up, at first, for a few days, while showcasing the new one, ...just in case he didn't like this 'new' thing. No problem. He absolutely preferred this metal one, without hesitation. We would recommend getting the extra filter package included and springing for the extra few dollars to have them included with your new fountain, before having to purchase additional replacement filters separately, for future use. The view window for water level and blue light illumination are nice. USB cable to power the pump with wall plug is included here. Super easy set up and works, as expected and advertised, right out of the box. Pump is quiet and runs smoothly. Longevity of the pump is yet to be determined, so cannot make any comments in regard to this here, at this time. Some splashing seems to occur, so a water mat or waterproof feeding mat is recommended, especially if planning to use this item on wood floors, carpet or other flooring that may suffer water damage, though this would be minor, unless your feline is a notorious messy eater or likes making a mess with the water, for whatever reason.

Works great but I’m not a fan of the power wire for the pump being permanently attached so when I wash the pump I need to be cautious of the usb getting wet. Also I’m not a fan of the tube connecting the pump to the faucet because it’s very hard to take off and clean. Other than that this water fountain is very quiet, doesn’t leak, has a great look, is very durable with great water flow and my cat loves it.

Our cat is around 14 years old and had never drunk from a fountain before. At first, Zoe was hesitant as she sniffed around it and then retreated. I waited a minute, and then when curiosity got the best of her (which is odd because she is the world's most UN-curious cat), she ventured over to take another sniff. And then she took a drink! And has been drinking from it ever since. :-) Also, the "porthole" is a great feature. With its pretty blue light, we can easily see when the water level is low, and we know to replenish! :-)

This is a delight to set up, which took about 10 minutes total as the filter has to soak for 5 minutes before use. But I am so happy that, in addition to the extra filters and sponges as advertised, it includes an extra cup, connecting tube, and a USB charger. What a great deal! My kitty does seem to view it as a new toy rather than a drinking fountain for now. She is fascinated by the blue light and gave the whole unit a thorough sniffing before sticking her paw in to play with the running water. It really thrilled her to discover the wetness is water. She got so excited she did zoomies around the coffee table then leaped up the screen door! It shouldn't be long before she figures out the practical aspect of her new "toy" though. Bottom line is she absolutely loves it, especially the blue light for some reason. I am happy!
