Let me start out by saying that we run a kitten/cat rescue with multiple cats in several rooms. I have learned through frustrating experiences that they like to sleep ON TOP of things. I use carriers like these to isolate young kittens for their quarantine if they are old enough to be alone and don't have siblings. Unfortunately, I have some cats that get jealous - and like to sit on top of the carrier if they can. One of my most jealous cats - MayMay - is about 8 pounds and I can tell already I have to keep this totally out of her reach because as soon as she tries to lay on it - which she will do - she will crush the top. It just doesn't have much support on the top layer. That said, if you have only one cat and it won't try to sleep on top of this, then you might like this. I do like the fact it has a blank label and a protected spot to place the label with your information. I wish this were sturdier. I wouldn't buy again or give as a gift. ... show more

This pet carrier is perfect for those necessary visits to.....you know where. Our kitty didn't mind too much the first time being put in the carrier, although he hates car rides with or without carriers. When we got to the vet, they had to reschedule us because they had an emergency. I thought, "Oh, great; he'll never get back in this again." Wrong! He really didn't mind it the second time, even though he bawled for the car ride again and bit the vet tech giving him his shots. He does try to scratch at it and gets his claws stuck, but it didn't rip or even have holes. It must be put on a level surface because the bottom is not completely firm, so carrying it on my lap was out of the question. It did fine in the front seat and the back seat. This cat/pet carrier is really nice, and provides convenience and stability for traveling with your fur-friend(s). The removable and washable, fleece-lined flooring offers them a comfortable, and cozy traveling environment. This carrier is very well made with exceptional detailing, and lots of outside storage pockets to accommodate all of your pet travel accessories (and then some). For added convenience, your traveling companion can be placed inside of the carrier one of two ways…by a front or top zippered opening. I’m very happy with the quality, functionality, and value this pet carrier offers. Please be advised, however, that the measurements listed in the product description may not be totally accurate. In my case, the length for the size that I had ordered was actually smaller than the dimensions given. With this in mind, going up a size might be something to consider. This looks great and I love the openness of the sides. The quality appears to be good, however, I would not test the weight limit. I do not think the carrier will even hold up to 18 pounds much less 20 pounds. It is easy to use though.

we got this carrier on the fly for our new kitten and it works great. There is more than enough mesh to allow for airflow while still maintaining the rigidity necessary to keep shape. The padded floor seems to be very comfortable seeing as how our cat voluntarily sleeps in it when we leave it out in the house. The pricing is reasonable and it seems sturdy enough to last for quite a while. Great buy! ... show more

The moment I pulled this from the box and set it up, my cat climbed right in it. I haven't had the chance to take him out anywhere in it yet, but I've left it out on the floor and every now and then I find him in it. He just walks right in to lay down for a nap! So, on top of all the other nice things, like the sturdy zippers, the padded bottom for comfort, and the extra side pockets for storage, the cat also gives it a glowing review! ... show more
