I bought this to replace an open outdoor firepit, wary of the warming temperatures and determined not to start a wildfire. Assembly took some time and was a little fiddly and imperfect in places (notably the ring feature shown going round the legs). However, the final result is very useable. The metal is decently weighty though not as thick as some of the iron fire rings you can find being sold locally in some country locations. I like the rotating grilling top, which can be set at a number of different heights. Mostly I like that it contains a fire securely within the ring, and it's easy to securely put out with some water at the end of a pleasant country evening by the wood fire.

The fire pit seems sturdy but after using it about 5-6 times I noticed the paint starting to chip. After 3 months I am starting to see some rust spots forming. I really do like the design.

Extra large fire pit is wonderful but some screws were malformed and didn’t work, they sent no extra screws either so had to pull off our old fire pit. I also suggest highly that you do not tighten any of the screws until all of them are in place or you will be sorry and have to redo the whole thing.

Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2024 by Very large Firepit! Very nice, but two screws were made badly and wouldn’t screw in so we had to take some off the old grill. They didn’t provide any extra screws which would have made this issue go away. DONT tighten any screws until fully assembled or other screws won’t fit in. This is in the directions and I suggest you listen or you will be very frustrated and it will add to your time putting it together because you WILL have to loosen all of them.

I’m in love with this fire pit. We built a platform deck this past summer, and this was a big splurge for us to add in our campfire area. It’s beautiful and we’ve already enjoyed many backyard fires. I’m knocking two stars off because we received it with lots of broken parts in the fine mesh. For as expensive as this is, there is no excuse for that. We had a get together planned for a few days after we received it and figured if we returned for another, the same thing would probably happen, so we just kept it. For the cost, there should be more effort to deliver a product that is not damaged.

Well I needed a fire pit for multiple people around the fire and , this thing works , the paint is holding up in the fire and rain , the foot stand is wonderful and the bbq is awesome, the Negatives are just the sides grateing is difficult to level and line up so they become 90 degrees to the barrel. Had to bend them with my hand and use a level to make sure they straight. Other than that love the thing would recommend
