  • Incredible Quality!
This gaming station is worth every penny. Before I even unpackaged it, I knew this was a company that cared for it's products. Upon opening the box it was shipped in, I was pleased to see that there was another box inside protected with foam! Inside that second box was the Club Case. I was pleasantly surprised that the case itself was not as big as I thought it was going to be. If anyone has ever dealt with Pelican cases, that is the type of quality you are getting. One of my favorite exterior features are the twist locks built into the lid clips. They ensure that the clips don't accidentally come open and are really a nice touch. The interior is set up perfectly (of course), and there is really no issues with getting your PS4 securely fastened inside (I watched the video prior to buying, but even if you didn't, it is extremely simple.). The screen is awesome and the speakers are perfect for what you are using this setup for. Most people these days use headphones while gaming anyway, so this was not a huge concern for me, but if I am going to watch a movie or something, they are plenty loud enough. The case is amazing, fits everything easily, and offers exactly the protection I am looking for and then some (because I don't plan on dunking it in water, but it is nice to know I can if I am feeling particularly crazy...). I travel a lot for work and sometimes my luggage is loaded onto the bottom of a pallet with hundreds of bags on top of it. It is nice to not have to worry if my PS4 is going to arrive safe or not. Awesome product! Thanks Case Club! ... show more

  • Poor Description/Product Issue
This product was not as described except for one key comment. The case is in good condition. The display inside the case was a total loss. No this was not from shipping damage. This was damage done before it was shipped as the display had been opened screws rounded off, panel boards broken, display will not power on ... show more

  • Not worth the price.
The idea of this is cool. I bought it to take overseas on my deployment . The thing is, I ordered mine and there was a short in the power cord to the monitor. I took it apart hoping maybe it just came unplugged but the monitor is just a cheap 19” monitor. It looks good... when it actually turns on. Another thing is that it doesn’t stand up straight. If you don’t have something behind it when it’s open, it’ll either lean back too far or too over. My friends have the gaems gamestation and not only does it look better, it stands up straigh and it’s lighter. The only good thing about this one is the foam inside to keep everything in place, which can easily be done by yourself. Good design, horribly executed. Not worth the price. ... show more

  • Case is great and works awesome. BUT only a couple of things you may want to worry about.
In all honesty, this case is one of the coolest things I’ve ever bought. It gives a reinvigorated feel to playing my ps4. It has a bit of heft but it’s not outlandishly heavy. Depending on the games you keep in its storage, like several steel book edition games and the amount of peripheries you keep in there, the weight could vary between 26 and and 29 pounds I reckon. My only concerns so far are the screen sensitivity and console overheating. The screen appears to be highly sensitive to touch. It’s a plasma screen so it’s to be expected but the smallest and gentlest touches to the screen will leave lasting marks. I recommend touching the screen as little as possible. Would like to see improvements for a more durable screen when it comes to a rugged product like this. Also, depending on how hot your ps4 runs, having it sit running inside the case too long may cause it to overheat badly. Trying to figure out some way I can reduce the congestion of heat occurring in the recess where you’d store the wires and the back of the console. Otherwise this case works excellent and is worth the money amid my critique. ... show more

  • Worth every penny.
This case is phenomenal. I was concerned about the built in TV screen, thinking that it wouldn’t be a very high quality picture. However, I am very impressed! Everything is high quality and durable. I was a little disappointed in the volume on one game. I had the settings turned all the way up on the PS4 and the TV and could not hear the game at all. I actually had to turn on the subtitles to play. But, the second game I tried didn’t seem to have that problem. This case is easy to set up and put away. Just open the lid, plug it in, and off you go. It’s perfect for traveling as it is rugged and reliable and everything you need is at your finger tips. I would definitely recommend it for the gamer on the go! ... show more

  • Awesome Product for the daily gamer
After some time, I am finally able to give a review. It is very sturdy. It goes out with an OTR truck driver so it is in and out of the truck while on home time. It is used daily for both game play and streaming videos. The only down side is the speaker volume...not as loud as we would like it to be. Case Club has been a blessing for the gamer on the road! Thank you! ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY
I wish I had heeded the warnings about the HDMI cable detaching from the monitor. Out of the box my monitor said “No signal” although I had connected it properly. You’d have to unscrew at least 20 tiny screws to access the HDMI cable & port. Its not a shipping issue, it’s a design issue. It is flawed, unreliable & a headache to even attempt to correct. I cannot stress this enough, LOOK ELSEWHERE. ... show more

  • The Pros & the Cons
This is a rundown of what is both good and bad about the Portable Gaming Station from Case Club (in my personal opinion) PROs The case does exactly what it is designed for. You are able to securely store up to 6 game cases, 2 controllers and a PS4 with relative ease. The case is very secure. While I have not tested the waterproofing, it is a very secure and protected case. The locks hold tightly and the PS4 is securely snug. The controllers are able to be strapped down with no risk of falling out and the screen stays protected as long as you use the case appropriately. (Mine went through checked luggage at an airport and there was not a scratch anywhere on the case, nor was there any damage to the screen or anything within the case. And checked bags get banged up pretty badly). The monitor screen is very nice. It is of course not going to be the most high-def image you have ever seen. But if that's what you are looking for then you won't find it on any portable gaming system/station (not yet anyways). You can play your games with clarity and the picture is very crisp for it's size and usage. Placement of the gaming system within the case as well as the controllers makes for easy access. You are able to plug in a charging cable for the controllers with ease, press the power/eject buttons on the playstation and remove/insert games fairly smoothly. Some may complain that the case is too bulky or too heavy once completely assembled. Personally I think that for what you are able to pack within it, and the fact that everything remains stable and protected makes it worth it. Sure it's bulky, but I like knowing my contents are safe and secure. Anything much thinner/smaller would put the contents at risk of damage. And as for the weight, what do you expect? You are carrying around a gaming system, 2 controllers and up to 6 games AS WELL AS a working monitor. If it's too heavy for you, then consider exercising more and gaming less. Physics still applies in the real world and weight won't magically go away just because you put something in a carrying case. CONs The monitor buttons are very inconveniently placed. The video demonstration makes them seem just out of sight, but you have to actually reach up and behind the monitor in order to reach them. It is a minor thing, but it is a bit awkward to access. The volume is near pointless. I play with the volume at 50% and can hear the game just fine. But if you want to hear the game more clearly then you should just use headphones plugged into the controller. I tested the volume and jacked it all the way up to 100% and I didn't notice any significant volume increase. Again, not the end of the world, and certainly not a deal breaker. But if someone wished to play with friends it would be nice if raising the volume actually made a difference. The cables for connecting the PS4 could be given a bit more wiggle room. While there is space to plug in the cables and they aren't being excessively forced into any overbearing angles causing immediate damage, I am worried that the bent positions they are required to be in will wear them down faster over time. The 3 game slots, the ones designed near the front for easy access without removing the PS4? Useless. I don't know how they managed to pull it off in the video but getting the first game out is not an easy feat. Even after removing the controller out of the way and sliding the game case out as far as it can go, which by the way is also not easy to do, I found the case was bending past my comfort level before it even began to lift out. I was concerned that the game inside would break and even then the PS4 was still being lifted up. There is not nearly enough space for games to be pulled from there with the ease as described. Maybe the 2nd or the 3rd game could be, but it's the first one that's the challenge. The non-adjustable angle of the case lid can make for a difficult time seeing the screen clearly. The quality of the screen is great. But you need to be at eye level with the screen or higher in order to see it clearly. If you are below screen level, like say you are on a low chair and the case is on a slightly higher desk/table, then the screen has a glare and you can't see the image. And because the lid does not adjust, you will need to support it against a wall or something else in order to maintain a visible picture. Your best chance is to sit in a chair higher than the case. COST I did a quick look around Amazon and you can find gaming monitors ranging from $170 - $600+ So considering you are getting a fairly great monitor, a protective case with cutouts specifically designed to hold your PS4, games, and controllers with ease and security AND have it all built into each other to make for easy use and transportation, makes this a great deal at less than $400. SUMMARY Over all this case does exactly what I wanted from it and at an amazing cost. I am able to take my gaming system with me on the road, it is very easy to set up, and I can play in the comfort of wherever it is I am staying with ease. That being said, there are a number of areas where I feel this case is falling short. And I may not be an expert but the issues I have found don't seem to have been so difficult that they couldn't have been remedied during the designing process of this case. It is because of this, that I gave the case 3/5 stars. It maintains points for functionality, mobility, purpose and low difficulty use/set up. But it loses points for inconvenience, inefficiency (in some areas), and seemingly complete disregard for fixing issues that could have been easily taken care of. ... show more
