Connects just fine to my computer, as I don't have an actual PS4 to connect it to. I use it when I don't have access to an Xbox controller for games that support Xinput. Plus, I do find the placement of the analog sticks a lot more comfortable. Any complaints I have regarding connectivity (I will say that it occasionally just does not want to work wirelessly and I have to manually plug it into my computer) is purely a Windows problem, because it doesn't really play well with controllers like that. Overall, if you are a fan of the layout of PlayStation controllers and want to use them with a computer as a controller, this isn't a bad price. Worked just fine out of the box, was clean, everything looked and sounded the way it should. Way cheaper than buying a new one.

Sad that you can’t save ten bucks on a used controller and get one that works properly. I’m skeptical that this one is even genuine, maybe the shell is, but the buttons feel very different. Identifiers on the label say it’s the 2nd generation controller for release in Europe not the USA. —————————————————— My issues: Buttons feel different, more of a click and hold into place feel to them rather than click and release feel. The O image on the “O” button is off center. L1 trigger shifts side to side and clicks. Left joystick is not fully centered so there’s a tiny amount of drift. Start and Share Buttons are much larger than my OEM controller, which makes them even more awkward to press them. PlayStation logo on the center PS button is crooked. Does not power itself or the console on while charging, not even if it’s charging off the console itself, which every ps4 controller I’ve ever owned has been able to do. But in order to use while charging you must be using it first, and then connect it to a power source, because the controller won’t on if you have it off and try to turn it on while connected to power. Think that’s about it. I bought the warranty on this, but next time I’ll just buy OEM at full price.

I have ordered this controller twice from this seller, and while both were completely functional and offered good value for money there was a wide discrepancy in the quality between them. The first came wrapped rather carelessly and worked, but quality was fairly mediocre and I initially blamed it on DualShock 4 rather than the vendor. I was happy enough with my purchase though to buy another one, and this time it got to me packaged much, much better and with a slick, like-new quality. Buttons are crisp and satisfying, everything works great out of the box. So while it is strange I feel somewhat more negatively after having an even more positive experience, I will say that with this item your milage will likely vary and the quality of the item received may or may not live up to expectations. I am uncertain if the orders were fulfilled by the same vendor, or separate vendors, and this may be a contributing factor. Of course, this item is refurbished so all of this may be expected. Overall, a solid buy and good value for money, would buy again.

The controller comes as is in perfect condition. Looks and feels brand new. Only issue I have with the controller is it keeps disconnecting from my PlayStation. It doesn’t stay on unless it’s plugged into the PlayStation. I tried it on my MacBook and it turns off as well and doesn’t stay on.
