Came with everything, clean no scratches or dings. 22xx model as advertised. Even the controller had a 90% charge. I was a bit concerned about the game insert and eject rollers initially, as they're slower than my PS5, but I also wasn't used to the location of the disc port, it is working properly and I've installed many games. Graphics are a little better than my Xbox One, glad I bought the slim instead of pro, despite similar prices, because of established reliability and already having a PS5, this is a backup. I easily transferred my save files for my PS4 games via USB drive from my PS5. My thumb drive housing was too thick to fit in the PS4 port, due to the thin area the PS4 USB port is located in, thumb drives fault not PS4. I took the thumb drive out of its housing so it would fit, and it worked perfectly. To top it all off most all my games installed combined in under 2 hours, some installed in around a minute. This leads me to believe I got lucky, and the HDD was replaced with an SSD at some point. I'm not positive on that, nor suggesting all of these do, but the games are installing faster than my PS5 normally installs them. Initial reaction is this is a great device, take into mind just because mine is, doesn't necessarily mean all are, but I'm very happy with the console I received.

I’ve had it running for two days and so far it’s working perfectly. Just one thing. I was surprised that it hadn’t been factory reset or reinitialized. My machine still had three previous users on it. Initializing it took several hours.

gave it 2 stars because the console and accessories are clean and appear to be in excellent condition like it describes. the controller even comes with the little plastic protective peel-off film on the touchpad. the issue is, even though it looks like it is in excellent condition, it does not operate like it is. the first issue i noticed was with the controller. the right trigger button is so sensitive, all it takes it a little shake of the controller and it activates. you cannot rest your finger on it without activating it. contacted seller, and they sent a replacement to try before sending the original back. the replacement would not charge, and the controller battery status on the playstation was showing a question mark. it acts like the battery isn't even there. how does this happen when everything is supposed to be checked? seller offered to send yet another replacement, or give me a partial refund. they are trying to make it right, but if they dont give me enough of a refund to purchase another controller, i will be stuck trying another one from them. the second issue is, i noticed a random screen flash while playing. i changed the HDMI cable to one that i had, and it didn't help. i noticed it would flash more when plugging the cable into the system. wiggling the port on the system made it worse, so the port is loose. probably has a bad solder point. i had to position the console in a way to support the cable in the back of the console instead of letting it hang behind the dresser where it is sitting. seller offered to take the console back for repair or replacement. im sure this process will take quite a while, so i am letting my son get a little playing time on it first since it was a xmas gift for him. the seller has been very accommodating, and responds quick to messages, but its just disappointing to have these kinds of issues with a console that is rated as "excellent". this rating should describe how it functions, not just how it looks Updating to 1 star. Still dealing with this. Got a replacement console and controller from seller. Controller is greasy and has food on it. Console would not read any disc I put in it. In order to get it to read the disc, I had to turn the console on its side. So the eye is getting stuck. Honestly, are these even really refurbished? Because how do you say it is refurbished in excellent condition if you don’t even put a disc in it to make sure it works. sending back for a refund and taking my business elsewhere

LOVE MY USED PS4 I BROUGHT FROM AMAZON. CONTROLLER PERFECT, SYSTEM PERFECT THE ONLY THING WAS THE CHARGING CABLE THE WAS DEFECTIVE BUT FOR BUYING A USED ITEM YOU GET WHAT YOU GET BUT I ORDERED A NEW CABLE AND BROUGHT ANOTHER CONTROLLER WAS $19'99 GREAT DEAL.

Summary until i get a power cord: Overall the console is very clean, and packaged nicely with no damage done to the console or controller. Slight signs of wear on the console and controller, but only if you are looking for them and a reason to be upset. Questionable quality control but the best customer service I have ever gotten and I would absolutely buy from this seller again. 8/24/23 orginal review Console and controller seem to be in good condition, no dirt or finger prints, but I got 2 HDMI cables, a super cheap micro USB cable to charge the controller, and no power cable for the console. I contacted the seller immediately to try to get a replacement power cord, and I will update later. Update 8/25/23 Seller responded quickly with a partial refund and a power cord is on the way Update 9/17/23 Found out the power cord was actually sent to PA and not MN, contacted the seller immediately, he responded the next day with another power cord shipment, and 2 bonus games. I will update again once the package arrives. Update 9/23/23 Power cord and games arrived on the 19th, and I have given the console a few days to analyze the performance and such. As expected the power cord that was finally sent to me works perfectly, the games look to be in good condition although they are not really games I would play. No matter, I appreciate the seller for compensation for the issues and will likely try the games sometime soon since I have them, no point in wasting them. Performance wise, the console has a few lag spikes when playing god of war 2018, but I counted 2 in the 4 days I have been playing. As my friends warned me about, the ps4 fan is extremely loud, but I have noise canceling headphones for that. On the topic of headphones, the audio cuts out sometimes when useing the aux port on the controller, it hasn't the few times I was just using my TV speakers. It's not often enough or long enough to impact my game at all, just something to note. Overall, 9/10 experience, probably should have gone with the ps4 pro, but its alright.

I'm always a bit nervous buying used electronics but this has impressed me. Box arrived perfect and the console was visually perfect. No scuffs or flaws. Came with everything stated. Fired it up and ran a stress test loading up a physical copy of RDR2. No issues with the disc reader. Then took it for several Fortnite runs. Fan is quiet when it kicks on. No overheating. Its been a few months and still running excellent.
