These are absolute, hands down, the easiest way to add modern infotainment features to your car. You can have it in less than a minute. Did you know that WIRELESS Android Auto and Carplay aren't even included in aftermarket car stereos costing as much as 600.00, from all the top brands? Nor is it included in many top trim level cars. All of those require a USB cable connection...gross. This inexpensive unit has WIRELESS connectivity and like I said, you can install it in less than a minute. A single minute. The rear camera will take some work, but is optional. After installed, the nice looking and responsive touch screen will show you a live view of your favorite map software and/or your streaming media. You can control the functions via voice or touch, etc. Whether you are driving a high end luxury vehicle or a clapped-out 30 year old Civic, it is compatible as long as you have a working radio with FM or AUX input. Add a wireless magsafe charger, so you can just slap your phone on it and go and you just upped your tech game to max level. Absolutely, wholeheartedly endorsed!!!

Let me start with things I didn't like... which for the price to value ratio I can't really complain, but I wish they would improve. 1. The backup camera - it actually works well enough, I tested it inside with a DC power bank. Once the camera gets power it lights up and sends a video signal, which takes over the display. When the camera is powered you can not use the display for anything else. So you can't just leave it on and are supposed to attach it to the reverse lights. The problem is that is difficult to do with SUVs and hatchbacks and the included cable isn't long enough. I really wish they offered the option to power it from the head unit and had a digital, motion or physical switch to enable the power/video feed. Installation would be so much simpler. 2. The built-in speakers. They are tinny and not loud enough for noisy roads and AC to be the sole audio. You can and should aux or FM transmit out, but it would be nice if they could integrate something with a fuller sound. 3. No bluetooth out. When I realized that the built-in speakers were too poor, I don't have AUX in and the FM band is too congested in my area (not to mention my SUV's antenna is at the back of the car, making the signal weaker), I decided I needed to supplement with a decent batter/usb powered bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately I found out the BT feature of this unit was for receiving only. So instead I'm using the external speaker's aux and have an extra cable. But for what it includes for the price, this is an amazing steal. It lets you with a little bit of work add safety and conveniences to older cars. I like that the included power plug still gives you 2 USB ports. The cold startup time is about 3 seconds before the FM transmitter kicks in and about 10-12 seconds for the CarPlay to connect to my phone. The touchscreen is quite nice and I like that they went for an ultra wide design rather than a squarish one, so it doesn't block as much view. Overall, the setup feels a bit jerry rigged but for as much as 1/10th the price of installing a new carplay stereo and backup camera, it's a good compromise.

This works well with a nice display and comes with all the good bits. I do have to say that I'm not all that impressed with Android Auto as it offers really restricted functionality with no way to use apps or movies from your phone, for example. I can't blame this device for that so no stars off. The device does offer some kind of screen mirroring but it looks like it requires some kind of installation of an app to do so. One disappointing thing is that it seems that while this is connected to your phone through wifi, it appears that your phone can't use wifi for internet which is a shame (this might be a limitation of my Motorola phone though). I am generally pleased with this item.

There's a lot to like with this package - the touchscreen is large and bright, and the additional navigation buttons are very convenient. The user interface is very easy to navigate. I also prefer this form-factor - the low-profile doesn't obstruct your view when driving. Also, when using Android Auto the screen layout is very intuitive - your map view can be massive, but still fully usable when sharing the screen with audio and messaging apps. Another nice feature is all the cables are routed to one side of the unit, so you can zip-tie your own cable harness and keep the dash looking clean. The kit also includes a backup camera, making the whole setup an amazing value. My only complaint would be that the power plug 1) isn't USB-C, so you need to use their included cord, and 2) doesn't fully insert (see last photo). But that's about it. It's a great value!

I wasn't sure I wanted to do a double-din conversion on my 2002 Silverado 1500 and so I got this. At the moment I'm outputting the sound using the FM transmitter which is working surprisingly well so far. Once bluetooth was set up the unit literally powers up and pairs in about 10 seconds which I think is impressive. I use Android Auto and it does everything I want from allowing me to listen to Pandora, to Google Maps, voice control, hands free phone calls and text messaging and more. Setup was incredibly simple including the use of the included windshield suction cup to hold it securely on my dash. The included lighter adapter even has two USB ports that are exposed when it's plugged in. I haven't connected it yet since I'm still deciding where I want to run the wires but I'm greatly looking forward to using the included backup camera. For me, this is a great solution that meets all my needs and a great value too. Very, very happy with it so far.
