  • convenient to use
Model: Plastic Buckle
This air pump is easy to use. Almost like a no brainer. It comes with different hose for different type of tire/objects. The main one is for cars. It’s easy to switch mode. I haven’t tested it on my car tire, but by just turn it on with nothing, you can feel the strong power by air. The price is very competitive among other product. I’ll test it tonight and give follow ups later. ... show more

  • Broke the first time I tried to use it!
Model: Plastic Buckle
I had low expectations for this unit based on the price. I was not disappointed. The first time I tried to use it, the clamp on the filling nozzle broke! I tried to fix it but I didn’t have the tools. Had to call AAA for roadside assistance! Don’t waste your money on this! Spend a little more for a more reliable product. ... show more

  • It can run without being connected to a power source all the time
Model: Plastic Buckle
Usually it's enough that the power source for the device is the cigarette lighter in the car, but what happens if/when the battery is low or maybe you're not trying to pump up a car tire, but maybe a bike tire? Well that's where this baby comes in. It has a pretty slim size so if you wanted to put it in a coat pocket (or some deep pants pocket) that's doable. The LED screen is easily readable and the whole thing only weighs a couple of pounds so it's not merely "portable" in the sense that you can carry it from one place to another. It has a fairly bright white light on the top of it in case you're working in the dark, and if you need to draw attention to yourself, another press of the button makes it flash red/blue lights like a cop's lights. Yet another press of the button makes it flash SOS in red light. It automatically shuts itself off without any button presses for a couple of minutes so you don't have to worry about accidentally running down the battery, but even if you just need to charge the thing there's a couple of options. It comes with an adapter that lets you plug it into the cigarette lighter, and also comes with a USB C charging cable. There's also a USB A port on it that you can use to power some other device in an emergency. The only confusing thing about this is the circular arrow button. Pressing that changes the Display from BAR, to Kg/cm², to PSI (for Bikes) and again to PSI for inflating basketballs. I say it's confusing because the display shows a car next to BAR, a different bike icon for Kg/cm² and then the bicycle and basketball. I have no idea how many BAR my car tires are supposed to be set to, and we don't use the metric system either. Other than that, I tried it on my own car tires and it worked great, and stops accordingly on the right PSI measurement (despite the fact it doesn't show a car next to the measurement type). I also tried it on a bike and it likewise handled it fine since they both use the same kind of inflation stem. I don't own any basketballs or other balls that would need a needle to inflate it but I imagine it would work great on those too. In any case, this thing just became my primary tire pump for my "on the go" situations. I'll leave my old one in the car since that one is a bit heavier. ... show more

  • Quality Product, Something everyone needs to have-
Model: Plastic Buckle
I got this tire inflator because my husband rides his bike to work and often has to put air in his tires. Before this, he was at the mercy of air pumps at the gas station- if and when they had the air hose and actually worked. Because, in an urban city, sometimes things like that are often not in working order. Now, with the CarPerif inflator, we can easily put air in things like his bike but also air mattress- which often come into use (with us) and you know how they can deflate easily, even when there are no leaks. Rather than having to take the time blowing it up the slow way (if you even can, depending on the expense of the mattress you buy- with this inflator things of that manner (the low-pressure items) blow up faster than you can imagine. My husband also used this inflator to put air into car tires for some friends and neighbors (to see how well it worked) and it is a much faster process than using anything else- he tells me. And so easy. Because the air comes from a little box you hold in your hand with a short connector cord- there is no entanglement of the air hoses and you can actually have it on hand if you run out of air in your tires and you are nowhere near a machine to put air in them. And you can charge it with a common C-charger, which means I can even use the same hook-up to charge it as my phone. My husband is fascinated with the bright lights on this tire inflator. They are actually emergency lights and if there is a problem and you need to signal that you need help- this is the device you want to have on hand as they are all MEGA BRIGHT- there are LED lights, flashing lights, and SOS lights. You are going to get anyone's attention when you are using them. Again, I think this is a good item for a young man or woman who is driving for the first time, going to high school or college, especially if they are driving long distances. While it is a little of an expense, I think the item will prove well worth it one day. And once you purchase it, I doubt you will ever need to replace it. I really don't see this device not working one day, no matter how old it is- For instance, a colleague has a much older version of a tire inflator and it still does what he needs it to do, and functions properly, even if it's slower and without all the functions that we have on them today. Personally, I think this item could last a good bit of someone's lifetime. After all, it's not like it will be used all that often. And if you even replaced one every twenty years, it would be well worth the money, in my view. With one in your household, anytime tires need inflating, this can be used. Actually, anytime anything needs inflating you can turn to this small handheld device. The only negative that I saw with it, which may not be much of a negative at all- is that it was fairly loud for such a small device. I was quite surprised when my husband turned it on and I heard it for the first time. It was such a little device to make such a loud noise I thought it would burst in my husband's hand. However, that didn't happen and even for how loud the machine is, it is still easy to handle. And when it's on you're gonna know it's on and working. Trust me. This inflator came with a little black velvet bag where all the items you need to use the device- easily fit. This bag will easily fit in your glove compartment along with the little hose that attaches to bring the air from the device into things. This little hose is easily detachable as well as the attachments on the end of it (what you use to put air in different things). These different types of attachments are included along with a charging cord for the device. Amazingly, like almost every other electronic device it charges with a C-charger. ... show more
