This is by far the most beautiful cookware set I’ve had in my kitchen. I got the green and gold color option, and I love how the gold of the cooking surface nicely ties into the gold hardware on this cookware set. Beyond just looking beautiful, I’ve always preferred having a lighter color on the cooking surface (which is typically black on most nonstick surfaces) because it really helps better visually monitor whatever I have cooking. Each pot and pan in the set is fairly lightweight, and even the largest 10" saute pan is very easy to handle. The included 2 detachable handles are also very easy to attach and detach onto any of the pots and pans, as it takes literally no more than a second to lock and unlock the handle mechanism. It’s also worth mentioning that these handles are actually a major improvement over the similar detachable handles used by many other brands. The locking mechanism itself is the same, but the release button is pushed forward instead of straight down. This is a major improvement for safety reasons since this prevents the button from being accidentally pressed while holding the handle the wrong way. I happen to own both styles of handles, and when I tested them on each other, I found that they are 100% interchangeable and have an identical fit. This is great if I need to use more than 2 pots or pans with handles, as there are only 2 handles included with the 5 pots and pans in this set. The handles feel absolutely rock solid once attached. As for maintenance, I’d just try to avoid exposing these (and pretty much any cooking surface of this type) to the extreme high heat settings some ranges are capable of. I also love that each of the pots and pans is sized such that I see each of them being frequently used in my kitchen for daily cooking. This truly is a complete cookware set in that way, as these pots and pans will cover most basic needs in a kitchen. If there’s just one small area for improvement, I’d want the box this set came in to be a bit less plain than the simple white box that it is. Since this beautiful set would make for a perfect holiday gift, I think it'd have been more fitting to have a more decorative box with maybe some pictures of the set. Putting this aside, the inside packaging was done very nicely, and everything was protected with multiple layers of cardboard and wrapping. It also includes 4 color matching green pan protectors which should come in very handy for super compact storage where I can simply put all 5 pots and pans in a single stack for a minimal footprint.

I purchased the CAROTE Blue & Gold Ceramic Cookware Set specifically because I was looking to make the switch to ceramic, and I wanted an affordable set to test the waters before splurging on a more expensive set. So far, this set has exceeded my expectations. From an aesthetic standpoint, the set is stunning. The Blue & Gold coloring is absolutely gorgeous. They might not match the rest of my kitchen, but I don't care. I was immediately impressed by the detachable handles which I've never seen before. This feature is genuinely game-changing for storage as the set nest together perfectly and are very compact. I showed my girlfriend, whose literal reaction was, "Oh my God, that is the coolest thing ever!" It's the most excited I've seen her get about kitchen gear in ages. The usability of these is great. For my initial use, I cooked chicken in the 10" frying pan and a homemade tomato sauce in the 10" sauté pan. I had no issues with the chicken burning, and after 45 minutes of simmering the sauce, there was zero sticking or burning. The size and depth of the sauté pan are perfect as well, making it easy to stir a large volume of food without any worry of spilling over. The lids are also well-designed because while they warmed up slightly during use, the knob was still cool and comfortable to handle without a potholder. The pan's lightness is where there's a little bit of a tradeoff. The pans heat up very quickly, but they also cool down quickly once removed from the burner. Within a few minutes of plating my food and cleaning everything else up the pans were already cool enough to handle comfortably. On the other hand the lightness of the set makes them very easy to move around and clean. The detachable handle makes them fit easier in the sink as well. I followed up with eggs the next morning and again there was zero sticking. Overall, I am genuinely enjoying this set and would recommend it as an excellent, affordable entry point into ceramic cookware. Longevity remains to be seen since it's still new, but I'm excited to keep cooking with these.

We have been using Carote pots and pans and have been happy with them. They come with many different colors that makes them stand out. This one looks more like typical pot/pan with black color. However, it also hides any stains from normal use. Other than that, it is a good set of pot/pan. Silicon finish on the outer side helps to provider good seal without scratching the pot. It has a cut out to accommodate the handle. This one does not have drain lip, which Carote also offers in different set. Glass lid has silicone on outer side to provide better seal. Please note that there is a rectangular cut out for where the handle would go. Handle is in color of the pan/pot, which is appreciated. Gold, brown, black color combination says it is going for more formal look. I don't know, I like more colorful ones that Carote offers better. Having the removable handle and protective lining to stack them on top of each other, storage takes minimal space. Make sure to save the pan protector to prevent scratches. As a pot/pan, it works well as any quality pot/pan would. Nothing to complaint on its actual performance when used for cooking. Clean up is easy, as it can be thrown into the dishwasher. Not having handle on it makes it easier to pack into the dishwasher. Overall, we are happy with this set. Good quality set to have.
