I have this exact rug in black for my extra room. It's perfect in every way so ordered the dark gray for another room. Rug quality, softness, plushness, etc. is great but color is more of a dark & light gray mix almost resembling a tie-dye effect. I'm not unhappy, but I'm not thrilled with the effect. Gray color is perfect but the light/dark effect is not what I was expecting.

I was tentative at first after reading some of the reviews but to be honest it exceeded my expectations. It is kinda hard to vacuum but any faux fur rug is not going to be a piece of cake. We put alien tape underneath ours to hold it down to the hardwood and it def helps when vacuuming. Def a bang for your buck

I like this carpet, its soft, thick, and squishy. The color is rich and dark. But I can't find a way to clean it. I shake it, vacuum it, ive thrown it in the wash before (which seems to warp the carpet so it's no longer flat) but no matter what I do aside from sitting and picking little bits of debris out of the shag, I can't get it truly clean. That gives this rug a short lifespan, which is unfortunate. I assume all shag rugs are this way, so I won't be buying one again. But for being a shag rug, it's good for the price.
