-update: I tried multiple different types of rear racks and I finally found one that worked for this ebike. it doesn't fit perfectly but it works. look at the last two pictures I posted up and find this type of rear rack. this one is advertised to hold up to 150 lbs. I'm only riding my kids around and my heaviest kid is 65 lbs so it worked great for me. there's a side bracket that goes up pushing against the seat which I don't like. I'm going to look for a similar bracket that fits and doesn't extend up to the rear bicycle seat and then it will be perfect. I really like this style of scooter. basically doesn't look like scooter. it looks like a motorcycle. since it doesn't have a digital display I purchased a bicycle computer and mounted it. the bike computer gives me mph, odometer reading, and grade. also got a nice sturdy phone mount. this made ridinf the caroma sooooo much more enjoyable. it's really easy to install and it came fully charged. I wrote it about 8 miles and it shows 3 out of 4 bars for battery life. I am 190 lb and it zips along just fine hitting top speed of 19 and 20 on flat ground. I was able to install the bike hitch to the rear tire and and attach the trailer to the scooter. the trailer allows my two toddlers to sit inside and I tow them around on the scooter. I also put green slime in the fat tire so I don't have to worry about flats or punctures in the tire. I watch some YouTube videos of the reviews and I looked online before purchasing the scooter. and supposedly there are accessories that you can purchase and modify your caroma scooter. like removing the inner basket and attaching an extended battery to double your battery life. I went to the caroma's website and I didn't find any accessories for this scooter. in fact I didn't even see this scooter listed on their official website. I wish they had made accessories and aftermarket upgrades for this scooter. maybe in the future they will but as of right now I can't find anything. I really wish this scooter had a modification for a rear back seat, extended battery option, side mirrors, at a better informative display. this display just shows battery level. we need more info to be displayed. overall a very fun scooter to ride around with the kids and run local errands.

We recently purchased the Caroma Peak 1200W Electric Scooter for our kids, and it has quickly become the highlight of their outdoor activities! From the moment they hopped on, their excitement was palpable, and it’s been a daily adventure ever since. The powerful 1200W motor delivers an exhilarating ride, allowing them to zip around the neighborhood with ease. The scooter's robust build provides a smooth and stable experience, even when they take on small inclines, making it perfect for various terrains. I love how it combines speed and safety features, giving me peace of mind as they explore. One of the best things about the Caroma Peak is its ease of use. The controls are straightforward, and the kids were able to get the hang of it in no time. Was looking for a mobility scooter and got this instead. The solid frame is the main reason for purchasing this model mini bike. Way easy to assemble, with or without instructions. Rear wheel was attached at unboxing. Only handle bars, front wheel, foot pegs, front fender, headlight had to be attached at unboxing. All tools to assemble was included in box. NOTE: PUT front tire fender on before attaching headlight. It would be wise to order extra 16 inch x 3.00 inch inner tubes. I popped mine on the third day of riding. Not recommended for people over 6 foot or have long legs. Basically like the old mini lawnmower engine mini-bikes we had as kids but with a16 inch rear hub motor. I loved those old ones, got me ridin real motorcycles. Cant ride real motorcycles anymore, I got this for all the camp grounds im planning to visit for the rest of my days.

It broke after a couple rides the shipping not to bad but does not go 20mph battery life like was 1 hour maybe if that and talk me a month if not more to get my mony back the key insert Broke and what cracks me up is that thay said to cut a wier and I was like lol feral never getting thise save mony and get a different scooter I'm getting the mscoter has a throttle gage geos fast batry life good and overall better then caroma and the prise is better.

I got the cheapest version with the smallest battery and weakest motor too ride around the office. It’s perfect for that but if you’re using to actually go anywhere, definitely get the 1200w version. I’m 5’8“ and I fit on it fine and it looks very cool

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the D1 simply to upgrade to a 60v with two 2000w motors. I didn't think I would like it stock out of the box. All i did was add turn signals a bigger headlight a mirror and another 36v battery for more range. (Leftover parts from different builds). If you don't plan on upgrading buy the D3. Want someone for fun for the kids buy the D1. Just remember to wear your helmet and any other type of gear.
