I purchased this scooter, charged it up & NOTHING. Scooter wouldn't start. Contacted both Caroma & Amazon several times and finally received a return authorization from Caroma, but I have to send it back AT MY EXPENSE! I can see no justice in me having to pay exorbitant shipping fees for something that is defective. If I had simply changed my mind about buying it, then fine...I should have to "eat" those costs, but that isn't the case. It took several weeks for Caroma to even give me the return authorization...very frustrating to work with! ... show more

This is tits. There is a learning curve, though. The key will resist you to begin with. Maybe I was just to ... ginger with it. But now , when I put the key in, I am off and there is hardly a delay. It's pretty fast, but traffic will be annoyed if you treat it like a motorcycle. It is still a bike/scooter. The basket is large enough to get overfilled very quickly, but it is fairly sizable. I'm a relatively small man, if stocky, weighing at about 190. This scoots. Has plenty of pep even for my chubby self. Remember to tighten all the screws or you will fold your handlenars unexpectedly. I would recommend this as long as you have prime for shipping. I have no clue how much it is to ship it but comparable ones are shipped at nearly $200 per... I wouldn't pay $500 for this, though it is probably worth it in the end. It has been a boon for me. I love it. ... show more
