My daughter was wanting an electric scooter just like her brother and this finally became available for someone her size. She is 8 years old. I know this is advertised for kids 6-14 but I think the maximum age should be 9 years old. There is no way a teenager can get on here without it being too small for her. The scooter rides smoothly and at a safe speed. She was able to ride for over an hour before charging. The lights on them keep them apparent and safe in the dark. I love the fact that it folds in half so I can easily store it away. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge.

Grabbed this as a gift for my daughter but I needed to check it out before giving it to her. The box is stapled shut, so careful with opening. The scooter is fairly simple to put together. There's only 3 pieces (handle, front bar, and base). It included 2 Allen wrenches but instructions stated there would be 3. Putting it together is simple enough due to the minimal parts. Not sure what a 3rd Allen wrench would be used for though. Manual says first charge is about 4/5 hours and to not overcharge. Using the scooter is not too hard. There's a small kick stand to stand it up. The AC plug hole has a rubber plug to stop water from entering. The scooter handle bars have a nice stop so they don't end up facing backwards. The handlebar height is adjustable using press button springs and a clamp. I thought the scooter would just go at the press of the button but after turning it on, you need to kick start and then press the button again to activate the scooter. Double tap the button quickly to change the speed between low and high. Overall the scooter is a nice durable feeling scooter. A few little things got to me which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I got it for my cousins daughter and she loves it she's about 6-7 years old and she has been riding it up and down the neighborhood with her little brother and dad. The LED lights are very nice. It's not too fast for kids but looks sturdy and last a while. It was very easy to put together and fits in the trunk or under the bed when folded without taking too much space. It's a great gift.

My daughter is outgrowing one of her first scooters and she mentioned she wanted an electric one like she has seen other kids playing with. This popped up and I thought for the price I’d give it a try. She likes pink and rainbow stuff so the color scheme is right up her ally. I don’t expect it to last for years and years but if it can make it a few and pass it down to the younger sibling that would make me happy. This is going to be a Christmas gift so I’m excited to see her face when she opens it up.

I really, really wanted to like this one. The scooter looks beautiful (I got one in pink), and the flashing lights on the wheels and on the sides are really fun to look at. Here's the problem. It doesn't work. And it might not be very safe. It comes in a really, really big box. You have to put a few parts together using one of two allen wrenches (provided). The first red flag I saw was that you have to use an allen wrench to attach the main steering column to the tire by way of a clamp (see photo). I'm relatively strong, but as much as I tried I couldn't screw the clamp in tight enough for me using the tiny allen wrench they provided to feel it was connected securely (and if this piece comes off while riding an electric scooter, it could be extremely dangerous). I finally ended up getting one of my wrenches from my toolbox. Something else I wasn't thrilled about was that the product page said that this product folded, but it doesn't. This seems like a low-end version of another product that this company sells (which does fold) and someone must just sloppily kept that in when editing this product page. The worst problem, though is...it just doesn't work. The manual says in order for it to go, you need to get it to a speed of 1.8 mph and to "press the throttle button". For the life of us, we can't find anything that resembles a throttle button. And try as we might, we rode this thing up and down the sidewalk and the motor would never "kick in". If I can figure out how to get this working, maybe I'll come back and update this review. But compared to other scooters I've seen, this is one of the more disappointing ones.

This scooter is well thought out for kids I'd say a 6-8 year old is perfect. This scooter has 2 speeds 3 and 6 mph and it says it can go up to 7 miles. It was easy to assemble. The only thing you really have to pay attention to is the alignment of the wheel with the handlebar. It comes with the Allen wrench needed for assembly. It has lights along the deck to signify on and which of the 2 speed settings you are on. Using it is simple too. Just step onto the button on the deck and kick the scooter forward and the motor will engage. A double press of the button will change the scooter to high speed (we'll 6mph speed). The brake is a manual one where you step down on the brake mechanism (just a manual friction brake). After a couple of minutes the scooter will turn itself off. It's only rated for 110 lbs, again this is designed for kids. The handle bar has 4 positions to accommodate different heights. It's advertised to last 85 minutes. Remember to get your little one a helmet before they ride it!

This scooter is so much fun for my kid! The battery lasts a good while, and it’s easy for them to fold up and carry. The speed is safe but exciting, making it perfect for neighborhood rides.
