Great on smooth pavement’s . Not for bumpy roads Speeds up to 25 miles per hour. Great strength going up hills , shock - less scooter doesn’t take bumps and cracks with ease with 8 1/2 inch hard tires . Nevertheless great scooter for the price.

For background, I am the Grandpa to three kids ages 13,12, and 8. Twenty Five years ago, the kid two doors down was good enough on a certain brand of scooter to be SPONSORED, and spent a few years performing at County Fairs and such. MY son was the one whose talents were in different areas, but he tried to keep up. Think custom built ramps, flips at 40 mph, and such. ONE of those two kids was AMAZING. The other one survived with only minor injuries, and I love him dearly. Needless to say, I ordered this electric scooter with some trepidation. 6 weeks in, I can report that I feel validated and relieved. This scooter has subtle safety features built in. First of all, it needs to be rolling a bit. That is important to keep the rider on the scooter. My youngest granddaughter demonstrated to me how the brakes work, and that brake is easily accessible and effective. The LED lights increase visibility to a great extent. Perhaps most importantly, the speed is limited to a reasonable level. The kids still enjoy it, but it won't be doing 40 mph on I-75. With proper gear, training, and supervision, this scooter is awesome fun for the kids. ... show more

I deducted a star because it says adults, but once we received it, the weight limits made it clear it is for a SMALL adult. Better suited to children, who loved it. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the "adult" in the title.

    • This scooter is not only a ton of fun, it's really cute! **Update that's not so great**
My granddaughter absolutely is over the moon about this cute little scooter. It's a smaller size scooter, but it does support up to a hundred and ten pounds, which is great for little kids. Please keep in mind that the motor doesn't actually kick in until it's going about one point eight miles per hour. We didn't know this because it didn't say it in the instruction manual, but it did say it on the Amazon listing. We tried everything to get the motor to start, and it just would not go. All the lights were coming on, it was charged up perfectly, but it still would not go. I thought perhaps I had even gotten the wrong scooter until I re-read in the listing that it has to already be moving for the motor to even turn on. *UPDATE* This is still my granddaughter's favorite toy/activity- BUT NO MATTER WHAT we have tried, we have NOT been able to get the motor to engage. We are all So disappointed. Taking off two stars . It's lots of fun, but I really recommend that you have helmets, knee pads and elbow pads before you start cause this little baby can actually move! I'm getting my granddaughter a little bell or a horn to put on this, too! ... show more

My daughter thinks this scooter is the best riding toy in the world. As her mother, I am always anxious about her riding it, but my fears are dampened a bit because it is nicely made, and the light-up effects are super bright and flashy, adding an additional layer of safety.     • Fun scooter for the kiddo
I'll keep this brief, there's 2 modes, slow and fast. The slow mode is what turns on when you press the button initially. If you want to go into fast mode, you press it twice. It's not the greatest user experience, and can be jarring for your kiddo if they dont know that. I believe it's a bit unsafe honestly, but after a few rides my kiddo got used to it. That's the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars. Would be better if they added some sort of visual or a switch to change modes instead. Everything else works like a charm and the range is pretty decent. It charges pretty quick as well ... show more
