Description

Carhartt developed Traditional Welt work boots to offer a wide variety of styles in classic designs that are incredibly durable, comfortable and affordable. Tough jobs call for tough boots. Goodyear welt construction with lug bottom Carhartt rubber outsoles provide superior traction and durability. A PU Cushion Comfort Insole and PU strobel cushion pad provide comfortable support and reduce foot fatigue. All styles incorporate FastDry Technology linings that wick away sweat for comfort.

The boots came in like It said in the description have been wearing them for about three months seem great and feel great the arch support helped my lower back I would buy different inserts for them though, the boots are holding up well the laces are a little long for my liking but I always tuck them away, first couple of days of wearing them they were stiff but after applying lotion on them and breaking them in they feel fine and can walk on them all day without my back hurting. I’ve tried a lot of different boot manufacturers through the years including timberland, redwing, thurogood, Carolina’s, etc and I’m very surprised by these boots. I gave them a shot because of the price discount around the holidays. At first I was skeptical of the leather. I’m a structural steel welder/fabricator and I beat the hell out of boots. So usually the leather rips around the flew point of the toes. But so far a couple months in and they haven’t shown any signs of real stress. Usually within the first month i have threads coming apart, doesn’t matter what manufacturer it is it happens. But so far I don’t have that issue with this pair. This boot does break in fast because it is a lighter weight boot. This is a good warm weather boot for sure. Not ideal for winter but I’m making due. Overall even if I paid twice as much as I did, they’d still be cheaper than a pair of redwings and they’re holding up just as well if not better than redwings. ... show more

After dropping a couch on my toes I decided to try some steel-toed boots. These looked nice online, so I tried them. They take a little bit to break in, but so far so good. And I feel confident they will keep my toes from getting smushed again.
