  • Great boot..but...
Size: 11 Color: Brown Oil Tanned Leather/Brown Cordura N...
Listen to the reviews that say these are sized small. I usually wear an 11 in most boots and shoes but these are quite a bit too narrow. I should have ordered an 11 wide..I think and 11.5 would be too big but might have worked. I'd send these back but I need a good pair of boots too bad to return them so I've been wearing them hoping they will stretch enough to not kill my feet. They have improved a little. Outside of not being true to size, they are fantastic boots...most waterproof boots I've had in years and I wade a lot of wet grass rotational grazing livestock. Tough, waterproof boots are a must. I would have easily given these a 5 star rating had they been more true to size. ... show more

  • Waterproof, strong, reliable and tight to your feet.
Size: 11 Color: Brown/Black Leather
I honestly think these boots are very strong, like you can feel your feet and ankles secured by the hard materials around them. For me that is good because I work on uneven ground. I once felt in a hole by accident and sprain my ankle a little, but thanks to these boots i didn't break my foot and ankle, because I felt with my ass right on top of my foot dead weight (210 pounds). I felt my foot twisting but the boot prevented my foot from bending to the the breaking point, so I recovered from my injury fairly quick considering the circumstances. I know the boots are not the most comfortable ones, but they keep my feet safe and for me, safety is first. They don't slip on wet floors, good to work in muddy areas, easy to clean. In hot conditions my feet are not overheating and in cold weather they keep my feet warm if temperatures are not less than 28° F. I guess that is usually normal wearing just a pair of sucks. The cons In my opinion, the boots are difficult to putting them on and taking them off. I wish they have a zipper on the side to make it easier, but that is just in my case, you might have no problems with that. Just saying. Also, I noticed I have to wear long sucks or else put my pants inside the sleeve of the boots because otherwise my legs will get scratched and my skin gets sore out, and besides it has a nice smooth material inside, the seems can scratch your legs and that is not good when you work in dusty or dirty or muddy environments. That can lead to an infection on your skin not desired. Overall, I will recommend this boots when it comes to reliability, endurance and waterproofing your feet, also the ergonomics. They look nice and easy to clean and I got them for a fair price. I don't think I would have paid more than that to be exact, but remember, the first time you put them on they will feel like kind of tight a little, but it is just because they are new, once you wear them a couple of times they will losen up and you will be fine. Safety first! 😃 👍 ... show more

  • Good solid farm boot for the SUMMER!!!!!
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown/Black Leather
If you are looking for a barn boot THIS IS IT - FOR THE SUMMER - love them and will probably buy another set next summer - however, winter comes around and even two pairs of cotton socks will not help you beyond 20-30 minutes - with the ground cold and frozen and maybe spilling some icy water on the top you will not stand a chance - your toes will get cold as ...... and you better watch it!! The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is due to the fact that they fit well, just a bit tight when I put them on (kind of fighting a bit) and I WISH they were just 2 inches higher - anyone working on a ranch will understand ... show more

  • Lasted 9 months
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Brown/Black Leather
I work on a farm so my boots take a lot of abuse. These were nice for about the first 6 months then they started to fall apart. I also believe they gave me plantar fasciitis (google it if ya don’t know) so I have now gone back to the Muck Boot Chore they lasted me a little over a year before I had to retire them and they didn’t make my feet hurt like these did. These Carhartts are not worth the $$$ save $75+ and get Muck Boots they’re usually around $100 and a lot more comfortable also. ... show more
