I recently bought a Husqvarna 435 XP but the carb needed tuning right out of the box. But to my surprise the spline adjustment tool did not fit the the adjustment screws. After trying several work-arounds I figured it would be easier to purchase a carburetor that would have normal sized screws. When this carburetor arrived the first this I did was try the adjustment tool on the screws and it was a perfect fit. After replacing the original carburetor with this one and easily tuning it my saw is now running perfectly! I recommend. ... show more

Didn't come with gasket. It should come with two, but it had zero in the package. Edit: the when I did replace the carb it ran. So, I upped my review.

Well Worth it! My chainsaw hadn't been started in a few years and would not start. I discovered these new carbs and figured that $18 was cheaper than the time I would spend cleaning the old one. This was very easy to install and a chainsaw which didn't even come close to starting in over 100 attempts, fired up after three attempts. It now starts on the first attempt every time. There are no instructions sent with it so you have to watch youtube videos but it was very straight forward and I did not have a difficult time. ... show more

Did not work! No instruction tips. Took a while to figure out. The fuel to air ratio adjustment screws would not work and fell out. The saw could be made to run but only at max speed. Would not idle no matter what the setting. Could not return because it included tune-up parts which I used before I found out the carb itself didn't work. ... show more
