Got what I expected for the price. Never used this style so worth the chance to try it out. The cutters it comes with have no index numbers so I guess you use a sharpie to mark the used side. Also it does not come with a extra set of cutters. So add that expense when looking at the price. Overall a good deal and would buy again. The case is really cool I must say UPDATE: I’ve been using this since August and am very pleased. No need for an extra set of cutters as they just don’t dull. I use a credit card size 600 grit diamond sharpener and just figure 8 face down and they are sharp as new. I’ve had no issues with fit and finish.

WerkWeit Carbide Lathe Tools Set Wood Turning Tools for Lathe with Extendable Handle Lathe Rougher Finisher tools with Swan Neck Hollowing Tool, Aluminum Case. This is a nice set, it is bar stock with cutters on the end in decent aluminum handles. I have read other reviews before ordering this and previous reviewers complained they had to machine the bar stock to make it smaller so the tools would fit in the square handle hole. I have the opposite issue, all mine were all too slightly loose a full 1mm/ 1/25" all the way around. The handle only has two set screws on one side so you will always have to be cognizant of which way you are holding, which way you are applying pressure and beware of movement. I will see how it goes for now but I have to drill two more holes on an adjacent side of the handle and tap for an additional two grub screws. Don’t often leave reviews but I feel this one needs to be out there. The goose neck was too big to fit in the handle. Fixed it with a small belt sander, but some folks might not want to do that. Wouldn’t buy this again.

I am not happy with the purchase and may return it. I had to file it down so it would fit the handle. Didn’t expect to need to repair it before using it!

Very good quality for the money. I wanted to try carbide turning tools but the ones at the woodworking store are way too expensive to experiment with. This tool is just what I was looking for and performs well. Wish replacement cutters were available from the same source.
