The media could not be loaded. This is SUCH an awesome kit!!! It has TONS of eggs and is so exciting for my 6 year old!! As a teacher, I absolutely LOVE the identification cards with dinosaur info and the chart that shows what dinosaurs they will find!! Im going to have my child decide what dinosaur they got using the chart, have them find the correlating card, and I will read the dinosaur info to them. Maybe I'll ask my child if they think it was a carnivore or herbivore before I read it to them. I love how this kit incorporates education with the excitement of discovery!! I was creating a science related lesson for my classroom and I couldn't help thinking of doing a lesson around fossils and dinosaurs. It was a great activity for kids! I ordered 2 cases and it came with picks and brushes to use on the dinosaur eggs themselves. While the cards are really questionable and the grammar is broken, I didn't use them and only used the eggs to allow my students to dig like paleontologists. Great for a science lab! But I wouldn't rely on the facts they give with the cards. Also I didn't have the kids dip them in water, but they spent a good 10-15 minutes digging. They loved it though! ... show more

These were a Christmas gift for my son. He loves Dino’s. It is messy doing the eggs but it was really easy to clean up afterwards. My suggestion is let the egg sit in water for a few minutes before trying to dig into it.

My daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs right now and LOVES these eggs to pretend to be a paleontologist. So this is a fun thing for a kid, but just be aware they have a couple dinosaurs listed inaccurately. The "spinosaurus" is really a dimetrodon and there is no such thing as a saber toothed dragon. Thats the reason for the 3 stars. After some research I found this is just a poor translation from China most likely. Either way my daughter loves these and thinks it's so exciting to find a new dinosaur. They are also pretty small figurines. But this would be SUCH a fun activity for a kids bday party! ... show more
