The media could not be loaded. This kit was exactly what I needed for my Craftsman 9hp, 29" snow blower. Last winter after a snowstorm I was unable to get it started. I spent considerable time in the freezing cold and snow trying to make it work to no avail. It didn't seem to be getting fuel and I ended up having to move snow by other means. I was very disappointed. In preparation for this season, a few days ago I removed the carburetor found the stamped part number and searched Amazon for it. This kit came up in the search results. I compared the images to my carburetor and they seemed the same, so I took a chance. It was only $17 and it came with all this other stuff too. You'll have to transfer a couple of things from the old carburetor to the new one. I used everything in the kit except the spark plug and that's only because I don't have a socket with thin enough walls to remove my old spark plug and I didn't feel like buying one. My old spark plug works just fine. After installing everything the snow blower fired up instantaneously and now runs like a champ! I am very pleased with this product and price point. It is especially nice to now have a fuel shutoff valve and fuel filter which I didn't have before on the snow blower. This should help preserve the new carburetor. Now I need to remove the belly pan, sand the rust off the shaft and add lube to unstick the gear selector. Then my snow blower will be good as new. ... show more

Overall this carburator kit worked well, the carburator functioned correctly with minimal adjusting and it was nice having the fuel lines and other wear items like the primer and throttle adjustment lever, clamps and gaskets. Im reviewing this kit for what it is, it got my 35 year old snowblower working well for minimal cost. Is it OE quality, that is to be determined but to source all these parts separately, would be much more costly along with the minimal value of this snowblower, this is exactly what was needed ... show more

I purchased this to replace the original carburetor on a Spirit Snowblower with a Tecumseh HMSK100 engine. The original carb had developed some internal rust and was beyond repair. It was a very easy replacement and solved the problem. I am leaving one star off for the pitiful fuel filter that was included in the kit as it easily fell apart when connecting it to the fuel line. Big snow storm coming and blower had not started for years. Needed a new carb. Saw this and was skeptical for $20 especially with all the other stuff included. However, I screwed it on my machine and it started right up. Was running rough so I put the new spark plug in that was included. Now the blower works great. Didn't need the other parts but I am holding on to them. Made me happy to not have to shovel. First- verify your engine's part number then look up the carb part number for that engine to verify what you order is compatible. Then, find a helpful video for your blower that shows how to change the carb on your machine. It took me less than an hour to change it once I did. ... show more

I installed this carburetor in my Ariens 1027LE snowblower. I didn't need to make any adjustments at all. The original carburetor was just not allowing my snowblower to provide any power. Would bog down and only run on middle choke. Installed new fuel lines and the new carburetor and now I can even throw ice! it's belting snow and ice everywhere. Perfect carburetor. My primer bulb got damaged so I'm using my original in the meantime while the replacement come but this carburetor is what you'll need to get you going! All the other accessories are super cool too.
