    • Radar detector mount that doesn't fall off
The directions were decent, but main thing is that it fits my Uniden R3 perfectly. This mount has a sticky suction cup, but much different than the stock mount that ended up a goooey mess and fell apart after a couple years. My only complaint is that the directions really didn't explain how to adjust mount very well. I found that if you move the notched inner part incorrectly, it won't hold position properly. I realized that the inner notched part should be set in a manner that the bracket almost, or completely rests on the notched part, then it becomes almost immovable. I found that once it was adjusted properly, my radar detector doesn't bounce at all with road bumps or even out of balance tires. I also purchased another for my son because his original mount bounced so much. Definitely recommend this product. ... show more

    • Holds fast, easy tension adjustment
Actually a superior mount than the OEM that came with the radar detector. The side thumb screw is nice to adjust the tension by which the unit tilts for dismounting, so you can tip it down to mount the detector, and tip it back up into operational position. When you park, simply tip it back down for removal to hide the detector in a glovebox. The suction cup is plenty strong to stay solidly attached throughout that cycle. ... show more

    • Droops, depending on how it's put together
Suction on glass seems ok, but can't keep the radar detector upright. Constantly droops downward. Tried tightening as much as possible and it just won't keep it tight. Update: changed the one piece around that the screw goes through that holds the clip. Seems like it stops the drooping. Will see if it does the trick. Instructions could be better and point this out ... show more

Good value for the money, easy to install and the suction cup is really strong. It's similar if not better than the original suction cup. Good build quality, nice material.

    • Good for the price. Fragile to long periods of sunlight.
Great for a couple months. Can’t complain for the price. But the mount exploded into pieces when the sun came out. Also, if your car is bouncy the mount likesto let go once and awhile.
