    • Radar detector mount that doesn't fall off
The directions were decent, but main thing is that it fits my Uniden R3 perfectly. This mount has a sticky suction cup, but much different than the stock mount that ended up a goooey mess and fell apart after a couple years. My only complaint is that the directions really didn't explain how to adjust mount very well. I found that if you move the notched inner part incorrectly, it won't hold position properly. I realized that the inner notched part should be set in a manner that the bracket almost, or completely rests on the notched part, then it becomes almost immovable. I found that once it was adjusted properly, my radar detector doesn't bounce at all with road bumps or even out of balance tires. I also purchased another for my son because his original mount bounced so much. Definitely recommend this product. ... show more

This bracket unit was a great addition and replacement to my Uniden radar detector to which the original windshield bracket broke. Love the multiple options for adjustments.

It fits the detector, but the swivel part of the bracket will not stay tight. After a few days it flops down and needs to be readjusted and retightened.

Largish suction cup seems to be holding on well so far for my R7. Like another reviewer said, the central notched/ribbed hub needs to be rotated together with the adjusting lock nut so that the ribs are engaged to keep the detector from drooping down. Fairly simple and compact, it keeps the detector close to the windshield with minimal vibration/bouncing. ... show more

    • Unfortunately, vibrations cause the holder to come loose
I bought this bracket for my daily to attach my Uniden R7 to the windshield. Not only cause vibrations to loosen the bracket and change the angle, apparently the suction cup does not tolerate the sun - On warm days it may be that the radar detector is no longer on the windshield, but somewhere on the floormats. ... show more
