No stars. Android Auto does not work for 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. I've contacted support and they said they'd get back to me after submitting my issue with their technical department and it's been just under a week now. However, car play does which is absolutely annoying considering I'm so used to Android Auto. I've done every single tip they could give me and I wish they'd just send me a new one to at least try and see if it's just the one I purchased but because these are SOOO incredibly expensive I am absolutely not buying another. If I can't fix it and they can't respond then I'm going with a different companies device. I will change my review if I get it working on my own or if the company finally reaches out again with any updates.

I owned other device and ottercast is the best one so far. Other reviews might be competitors keep in mind. I’m not associated with anyone. I Love the fact that it automatically changes resolution when moving cars. Went from a small screen to a big screen display It’s not glitchy. Depending on your internet or hotspot. I had fast internet and notice updating the device was very slow. That was the only issue. DYOR I connected so far to a Chevy Colorado and a ford Mach E.

Out of the box was really difficult to navigate the touch screen. Took a while to get it connected to Internet and then it did an update and was much improved. (Recommend acting ability to set up from automatic connection to phone/tablet/PC) Works as expected except can't get it to bring up my Assistant (Gemini) as it insists on using its own (Nano?) Don't like the way it handles my Galaxy S23. Using in 2020 F150 and on 2020 Harley-Davidson CVO BOOM! GTS. On the Harley it let's me install the Sena Motorcycles app, and the Power Vision PV4 app which is why I wanted it. It's big but fits in the cubby if you remove the cubby foam. Instructions are difficult to read and I can't find a pdf with details.

The ottocast functions as a wireless carplay or android auto for your vehicle. It allows you to use certain apps on your cars screen. It has a sim card slot for actual data services and can be used individually from your phone. You can also just Hotspot your phone and allot the otto cast to connect to it. Its not very user friendly, however it does work once you figure it out. There are alot of options on how you can use it. Its quick to go from app to app or split mode. I did however figure out that it does not work with anything thats not touch screen unfortunately. For it to be basically a completely different entity or device on its own you should have the option to connect a mouse to it. For the most part it works well and provides tons of features however to me the price is a bit steep.

This device worked pretty well. After the initial setup, which takes a bit of time, it works well. The initial setup involves logging in to all your streaming services, setting up your screens, etc. This is basically the same type of setup you would do for a phone or a tablet, but in your car, so set aside some time to fully customize it how YOU want it. I did not use the SIM connectivity, and opted to use my phone's hotspot, and it ran perfectly fine. I was able to stream seamlessly in my truck, with minimal effort. I know I barely scratched the surface of this device's capabilities, but in all honesty, it's a bit much to deal with, for me. The other thing to keep in mind is that the performance is also dependent on the hardware you have in your car. My touchscreen isn't the most reactive, so it caused quite a bit of frustration at times, but I understand that is a limitation of my truck, and NOT the device itself. Overall, this device has a lot to offer, and maybe too much. It can turn your stereo into a full media suite if that is what you are looking for. For me, it was a little more than I need.
