Received this in and immediately plugged it into the truck's USB. Fired right up and walked me through the steps. Connected right away and carplay works flawlessly. A slight start up of about 10- 15 seconds each time you enter the truck . Nexflix and YouTube will require you to use your phone's hotspot or if you vehicle is WiFi enabled, it will connect to that and save your phone's data. So far so good! Only 4 - 5 days so far. We'll see.

I thought i’d love this wireless carplay; however, using it is very very annoying. It takes FOREVER to connect to your phone once you start it up and try to connect it and not to mention there is a significant Audio Delay which is extremely noticeable and frustrating when it comes to GPS, Changing music, etc. It performed very slow. I noticed there was an issue with audio once it ever needed to switch to the microphone, like being in a call or recording a quick snapchat… it would not revert back to full clear audio quality and I would need to disconnect it all over again and wait forever for it to connect. The quality for Netflix was pretty great which was unexpected, so I will give it that, but the needing to get the hotspot to connect was a little annoying cause sometimes it wouldn’t show up on the screen and you would need to wait for a refresh. All in all, I would personally never get anything like this again unless I know there are some out there that are not as problematic or very slow performing/connecting.

Pros: - Easy setup, just follow the instructions provided - Loaded relatively quickly upon turning car on - Gave ability to use Apple Car Play (w/ Android Phone) wirelessly. Could use Waze or Maps and stream Spotify without having to connect my phone to the car via USB - Could stream Netflix and Youtube w/ no issues. Some videos screen sizes were reduced due to video resolution, but overall I was very pleased with video quality. - Tech support. I sent several emails to tech support and they were very responsive. Few things I learned from them: The device only has 8GB storage total. Although the device allows you to download videos on Netflix so you can stream later without available internet, they didn't recommend it. SD Card for local videos (which I didn't get a chance to test) supports MP4, AVI, MKV, FLV, WMV, MOV, VOB, WEBM. - Netflix app allows you to download videos so you can watch later without wifi. This is nice as you can download them on home network and not have to worry about having wifi and using hotspot out in the middle of no where. Netflix app also allows you to delete videos after you watch them or as desired. Cons: - Bluetooth constantly stays connected, even after the car is turned off. - No way to tell how much space is on device or clear cache - No reset button on device to perform factory reset - Seems to run very hot, I suggest making sure the vents (which are located on bottom) aren't blocked - After approximately 2 weeks of using the device, it stopped working. My car was parked outdoors in the hot sun for 2 days, so I'm assuming it had something to do with the heat. It worked perfectly fine on the drive there, then when I went to start my car after 2 days, the device wouldn't reboot. The support provided by Tech Support wasn't able to resolve issue. I elected to purchase different device and return this one. Summary: Until the device stopped working after 2 weeks, I was planning to give this a 5 star review as it met all the needs that I expected and I was very pleased with Tech Support responses. But after the device stopped working, I couldn't decide if it deserved a 3 star or worst. Maybe the device itself was faulty, not sure. But overall, while the product worked, I was very happy with it.

My truck has wired CarPlay but I hate having to plug it up to a slow charging cable just for connectivity. This device gives you the option to go cable free when you normally couldn’t. The device isn’t the best quality and gets a little warm when in use, but it doesn’t really need to hold up to much. Super easy to use, very outdated software but once CarPlay loads it’s quick with no delays. The Netflix and YouTube option work without problem but you will need a hotspot or WiFi source. Gonna come in handy for my cross country drive.

It was not what I expected with the product, it is a bad investment, personally I do not recommend it, I am trying to return it and they give me many options not to return it, it is a garbage product, it is garbage to spend so much money, I do not recommend it, very upset with this garbage

I have a 2021 4Runner. This was super easy to set up. Plug in, click car play, you have to give it hot spot from ur phone to work, sign in to ur account and it WORKS!
