  • Wireless CarPlay Stereo for Honda CRV to Upgrade Your Mom-Mobile and Navigation
i honeslty thought my older Honda CRV was destined to be a tech-free zone forever while I watched everyone else in the carpool line with their fancy modern dashboards 🚗 and this car stereo has basically given my mom-mobile a complete facelift! Between managing the morning breakfast rush and trying to find that one specific playground for a birthday party I was honeslty tired of squinting at my tiny phone propped up in a cup holder while the kids argued over who gets the blue plate 🍽️ and this screen is such a massive upgrade for our daily drives. I call it my tiny little co-pilot assistant because the wireless CarPlay connects the second I start the engine so I can actually see my maps and messages without taking my hands off the wheel to find where the baby threw her pacifier ✨ The sound quality is honeslty so much better than the factory radio and I love that I can just voice command my grocery list into existence while I am stuck in traffic after school drop-off 🍎 plus the IPS screen is so crisp that even the dog likes looking at the colors from the back seat. It honeslty makes our long weekend trips to see Grandma feel so much shorter because the kids can listen to their favorite audiobooks and I dont have to fumble with messy aux cords that always get tangled in the diaper bag 🎒 the installation was honeslty pretty straightforward for my husband and it fits the dash so perfectly that it looks like it was always meant to be there 🏠 and it has honeslty made my house work routine easier because I can handle all my calls and scheduling while I am out running errands for the house without feeling like I'm losing my mind. If you are a busy mama driving an older CRV you honeslty need this to keep your sanity intact and your navigation on point ✨ because life is hard enough without a prehistoric radio holding you back! ... show more

  • Very convenient for daily use.
When driving, I need to navigate, answer calls, and sometimes play music. Relying entirely on my phone always felt like the car lacked a convenient central control unit. After installing this system, the first thing that impressed me was the screen size and viewing angle. It's very natural to look at from the driver's seat, and the image doesn't become blurry even when viewed from a slight angle. The touch response is quite sensitive; swiping through menus or switching functions doesn't require constant pressing, which is more than enough for daily use. My most frequently used feature is wireless CarPlay, which has truly made a difference. Before, I had to figure out how to connect my phone to the car after getting in. Now, once paired, it's much easier. Navigation is displayed directly on the central screen, and music, contacts, and messages can all be managed through the car's infotainment system. I'm also satisfied with the Bluetooth call performance. I can answer calls while driving without holding my phone, the other person's voice is clear, and the entire call is smooth and effortless. Occasionally, when I don't want to use my phone, I switch back to AM/FM radio. After setting up my favorite channels, changing stations is quick and easy. After using it for a few days, I think its most valuable feature is that it allows the way I use my old car to keep up with modern life. Before, when I sat in the car, I always felt that those functions hadn't changed in years; now, with the addition of a touchscreen, wireless connectivity, and more complete audio settings, even short drives feel much more convenient. The sound modes can be adjusted to my liking; I usually change the settings slightly when listening to vocals or music, and the difference is quite noticeable. ... show more

  • Should Have Upgraded the Radio Sooner
My 2009 CR-V has plenty of life left in it, but the factory radio was definitely showing its age. I finally swapped it out for this unit, and now the inside of the car feels completely different. The screen is big without looking ridiculous, and the fit looks clean once everything is back together. CarPlay connected to my iPhone pretty easily, and not having to plug in every single time is probably my favorite part. I usually have Maps running with music in the background, and switching between the two is quick. The screen is bright, the text is easy to read, and the touch controls don’t feel sluggish. Bluetooth calling has worked well too. Voices come through clearly, and streaming music sounds better than I expected with the speakers already in my CR-V. There are EQ adjustments if you want to play around with the sound, but I only changed mine a little before finding a setting I liked. I still use FM radio on shorter drives, and the presets are convenient for keeping my usual stations together. Everything is pretty straightforward once you spend a little time going through the menus. What I really like is that I don’t have to think about the stereo anymore. I start the car, my phone connects, Maps comes up, and music is ready. It feels like something that should have been in the CR-V all along. Considering how much nicer it makes the car feel day to day, this upgrade is absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • Installation and connection are very simple.
We've had this car for several years, and the original audio system was quite basic. I mainly listened to the radio while driving, and my phone had to be kept separate for navigation. Recently, I replaced the audio system while cleaning the car, and the overall experience has improved dramatically. The screen is much clearer, and navigation, music, and calls are all much more convenient. For someone who drives every day, this small upgrade is quite noticeable. I use the phone connection function most often. I can connect it in the morning and immediately access the navigation without having to constantly move my phone around. Changing routes while driving is also much easier. Answering calls is done directly through the car's system, freeing my hands from constantly holding my phone, which is much more reassuring. I also listen to music directly from my phone, saving the hassle of searching for stations or preparing other devices. After installation, it took me a while to familiarize myself with the options, but once I started using it, I found it very easy to operate. The touch controls are responsive, and switching music, adjusting volume, and checking navigation are all intuitive. I still use the radio function occasionally, especially on long drives when I want to listen to local programs. Bluetooth connectivity is also quite stable; I haven't encountered any situations where I need to constantly re pair. Overall, I think this upgrade has made the previously older in car equipment much more convenient. Although the car itself is quite old, it feels much more modern for daily use after the upgrade. ... show more

  • Finally brought my 2009 CRV into this decade
Had been putting off replacing the factory radio for way too long because I wasn't sure if an aftermarket unit would actually fit right or if I'd end up with gaps around the edges. Watched a few install videos and decided to just go for it. The mounting brackets lined up perfectly with the dash opening, which was honestly my biggest concern going in. Wireless CarPlay connects every time I start the car without having to mess with cables, and I can finally use Google Maps on a screen that's actually readable instead of squinting at my phone in a cupholder. The touchscreen is responsive enough that I'm not jabbing at it multiple times to get it to register. Sound quality through the existing speakers is noticeably better than the old head unit, and the EQ settings let me dial it in how I want it. Installation took me about two hours in the driveway. The wiring harness adapter made it mostly plug-and-play, though routing the GPS antenna and tucking the excess wire took some fiddling. One thing to note: the AM/FM antenna connection is a little finicky—had to reseat it twice before stations came in clearly. Makes the whole interior feel less dated. Should've done this a year ago. ... show more

  • Modern Upgrade for an Older CRV
The AMONGSONG car stereo is a practical way to add modern smartphone features to a compatible 2007 through 2011 Honda CRV. Since the head unit is designed around these model years, it offers a more vehicle-specific approach than a basic universal stereo. Still, checking the center console shape and dimensions before installation is important. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are the standout features. A compatible phone can connect without plugging in a cable each time, giving access to navigation, contacts, messages, music, and other supported apps. Bluetooth 5.0 also handles hands-free calls, phonebook syncing, and wireless music streaming. The 1024 x 600 IPS touchscreen provides a clear interface with wide viewing angles. The listing also describes the screen as scratch-resistant and shatterproof. For traditional radio listening, AM/FM/RDS is included along with 18 station presets and customizable EQ settings. One important compatibility limitation is clearly stated. CRV models equipped with a large factory screen, amplifier, and original reversing camera are not supported. Overall, this looks like a useful technology upgrade for a compatible 2007 to 2011 Honda CRV. Wireless phone integration, Bluetooth, radio, and a touchscreen bring several newer conveniences to an older vehicle. ... show more

  • Breathed new life into my older Honda CRV dash
My 2009 Honda CRV had the basic factory radio, riding around without modern navigation was getting tedious. I ordered this custom-fit 9-inch head unit to modernise my daily commute, and it transformed the feel of the cabin completely. The wireless CarPlay feature connects to my iPhone within seconds of turning the ignition key. Having Google Maps directly on the big 9-inch IPS display makes navigating morning traffic so much easier than balancing my phone on an air vent mount. The screen resolution is crisp, and colors stay clear even on bright, sunny afternoons. I also appreciate the physical fit, it snaps right into the CRV dashboard frame without leaving awkward gaps. Bluetooth call quality is clear through my car speakers, the built-in EQ settings let me tune the audio for much punchier bass when listening to my favorite playlists via Spotify. Just double-check your dash setup before buying; my model had the standard radio, installation was straightforward with no factory amp issues. It makes driving an older car feel completely current. ... show more

  • Smooth screen performance and easy phone connection
I got this radio unit for my 2010 Honda CRV after getting tired of tangled AUX cords during weekend road trips. The 9-inch touchscreen completely refreshes the center console and feels very responsive to touches and swipes. Setting up wireless Android Auto was a breeze. Now, whenever I hop into the driver's seat, my phone syncs automatically without having to plug anything in. Streaming music, receiving hands-free calls, and checking GPS routes on the large display keeps my eyes focused forward while driving. The IPS screen has wide viewing angles, so my passenger can easily manage the playlist or adjust the FM radio stations while we cruise. The sound quality actually improved compared to my stock radio. Playing around with the customizable EQ settings gave my factory speakers a noticeable boost in clarity. It feels like a genuine factory upgrade. ... show more
