I was a little reluctant to try this product since there were negative reviews about the proximoty feature, which is my favorite feature, and you Had to pay the programming fee ($85) whether is worked or not. But I figured what the hell, if it did work it was $125 compared to $250-$350. I took it to the local Honda dealer a,d they got it set up in about 45 mins and to my surprise, it worked like a charm. Every function including the proximoty feathure, works perfetly and the unit itselft seems strong and rigid, Really very close to the Acura Fob we got with the car, jst without the Acura logo.     • PERFECT FIT!
I made sure the numbers on my old key fob matched the numbers of the new key fob I was buying BEFORE I bought it. The numbers matched, I bought it, got an appointment with a licensed locksmith, and he cut the key and programmed the new key fob PERFECTLY!!! I'm on the road again. :) Thanks so much!

    • Doesn't Work and was used
I ordered 2 of these in mid August. This one came without delay, the second one was very delayed. I wanted both in hand when I went to get them programed. By the time the second one arrived, I was busy and couldn't get to mechanic. So today i finally got to programming them. Mind you, this was my first time opening the product. It was definitely used, I could not get the key out of the fob and worst of all, it did not work. Complete waste of money. I haven't tried customer service yet. This is so disappointing ... show more

Key works as stated. I got the key programmed and it worked fine. The buttons functions as the original key did and it was easy to program. Great product, highly recommended.

    • Key works well, must use auto locksmith to program
My Acura dealer wanted $600+ for a new key and to program it. I purchased this key and hired an auto locksmith for $90 to program it in 15min. Everything on the key works (lock/unlock/alarm/proximity unlock/engine start) except the trunk release button. If it wasn’t for the trunk button not working, I would have given 5 stars. But I’m still very happy with my purchase and the money I saved going this route. ... show more

    • Works but not all the functions
So the key programmed fine but the proximity feature of unlocking with the key in your pocket didn't work. The liftgate button also didn't work. I ended up getting a used one and reprogramming it to the vehicle

    • 2015 Acura MDX FOB Worked as promised. Make sure you order the correct FOB...Driver 1 or Driver 2
This is a knock-off Acura MDX FOB but worked as promised. It is not labeled with Driver 1 or Driver 2 but the locksmith told me it needed to be the right one as you cannot have two of the same thing...not sure if that is really true but I would order the one you are missing versus having two of the same. The unit programmed in less than 5 minutes and the safety key is the correct dimensions and works fine after being cut. ... show more
