So great I bought a second set. Also read for important Assembly tip...

Well made, strong, and beautiful! Arrived quickly in great condition. Assembly involves only 8 nuts and bolts and some spacers. The Assembly is straightforward, but can be a little awkward or clumsy. I did it myself, but two people would make it easier and a little quicker. There is only one part of the Assembly that is difficult, but I found a way to make it much simpler...if you will use a small ratchet strap when putting the last 2 bolts in to pull the chair legs together against the seat bottom, you won't have to struggle at all. After you put the first bolt into the leg and chair bottom, wrap the ratchet strap around the chair legs just above the seat bottom (it was easiest to just connect the ratchet hooks to each other rather than the chair legs directly, also no scratches this way). Tighten the ratchet strap and as the leg comes closer to the chair bottom insert bolt with spacers and guide it through holes as you Tighten ratchet. Once together put the washer and nut on. Tighten all screws securely and release ratchet strap. It is very difficult, takes a lot of strength and coordination to assemble without the ratchet strap. We loved these chairs so much we bought a second pair for another spot. My grandparents had these chairs 60 years ago, and everybody loved them, now I'm a grandparent continuing the tradition. I'm putting my 2nd set together right now, took a break to write this review. I assembled the first set without the ratchet strap, would highly recommend it, and the great chairs.

Totally Mid Century Modern and Well Built
Color: Key Lime
Top quality and thoroughly Mid Century Modern in appearance. Actually, they are much higher quality than any patio chair of the fifties. Super smooth and gloriously shiny finish, and all the metal is aluminium. All the nuts, bolts and washers came along with the necessary Allen wrenches for tightening the project after it is "put together gently". I have to admit it was a challenge doing it alone until the final step of bolting the last arm to the back; I needed my wife to puch down and hold the arm rest into place while I got it screwed into place. If you are stumped while trying to piece it together, just relax and visualize where the pieces would be in the finished product. It was a bit time consuming trying to finger the washers and bolts into place alone. I recommend having a helper for holding things. Again, the finish is just super and you need to be careful not to scratch it while assembling. Doing it on a rug would be advisable. The only criticism I have is that the bolts should be just an 8th of an inch longer to make assembly much, much easier!!!! My second purchase made this clear because most of the time I spent on assembly was because of the shortness of the bolts and thus could not piece it together very smoothly. So - I am getting longer bolts at Ace for my next tangerine colored chair.

I'd buy it again

Seems heavy and the color is bright, wish they offered it in more colors, black, gray, chocolate, a rich purple or a royal blue, etc, the paint seems thin so I don't expect that to hold up and it will probably need a coat of spray paint every couple years. It is sturdy and it takes 2 people to put together, you can't do it by yourself. There was a few left over screws/parts that I just tossed. Instructions were pretty straightforward and you don't need any tools to do it. I knocked it a star for the paint that I suspect is inferior and also because I'd LOVE it to be aluminum instead of steel so it'd never rust.

Good sturdy quality

Great, sturdy quality. Packaged well. Instructions arent perfect, but manageable. As many mentioned, putting it together isnt easy, even for an expert. Was very frustrating and time consuming. One review offered a great tip that allowed me to be able assemble by myself. Use a strap to really tighten the two arm panels together while screwing them into the center piece. If I didnt do that, I'd have had to wait for an extra set of hands. Doesnt really bounce like I'd hoped, even after lossenung screws, but still a quality chair and decent price. Would definitely buy again.
