Once assembled, they are stunning! I'm sure they will last forever. They were a little difficult to put together, only because the pieces are heavy-duty metal, and they need to flex a little to fit the bolts in the pre-drilled holes. First I put the 2 pieces of the seat together. Then I put the one piece arm/leg on one side. Then I flipped it over on the carpeted floor. Now is when you need physical strength. Bolt #1 on the chair back goes in easy. There is one bolt left. It goes into the chair seat. The arm/leg piece is a million miles away from it's matching hole. So, I sat on it! Perfect alignment for the bolt and hole! I had to contort a little to sit on the chair's side and put in the bolt, but not impossible. I'm old too......lol! Love these chairs. Ordered the Aqua to match a vintage chair I own, but the chair that arrived was more of a cool blue than the pale green Aqua in the picture. Kind of disappointed about that, as my chairs are now mismatched. I'll have to paint one to balance them out. Assembly requires two people, with lots of sweat and cursing, as assembling this simply designed chair is NOT easy. In the end -- if you get there -- it is a cute and comfortable chair. ... show more

Very pleased with my purchase. Very well made and is perfect for my back. Installation wasn’t too difficult. Tip per instructions do not tighten up the screws. Actually don’t tighten them at all until it is all assembled then tighten up one by one. Also, when the have to put the legs on start at the seat do one side of the seat and then bolt the other side of the seat. If you bolt the entire left side (or right side) you will get a HUGE gap and it isn’t going to screw in. ... show more

These chairs are very cute, comfortable and easy to assemble but they don’t hold up. They started rusting immediately and this is the eye sore I have after less than 1.5 years.

We have this chair on our deck. It is comfortable, sturdy, looks nice and we like the old fashioned look. We really liked this chair when we first purchased it, but after having it for only two years it looks terrible because of all of the rust coming through the paint. We really regret buying it.
