I bought this for a cross country trip to free up space in the car for our dog and cat. The bag is very heavy duty and it did stay waterproof despite an entire day of rain. The included lock broke before we left so we had to use one of our suitcase locks- which was probably for the best. It holds a lot, especially with some strategic packing.
