I went from the 5 inch factory head unit on a 2020 jeep gladiator. Install was easy. Had to buy a backup camera adapter it doesn't retain the factory USB or USBC they are just a dead plugs now. Most every ofter function is retained. The android auto cuts in and out. The display is great and responsive and its a lot louder than the factory. It also has a more in-depth and customisable sound. I don't believe it's worth the price. I feel a cheaper head unit would have been about the same just more difficult install. But I've always changed the head unit in each of my vehicles.

So far I think it's great I installed it and a separate subwoofer as well and they sound was awesome. I hooked up a aftermarket backup camera but you don't have to if you purchase the adapter. And I liked every single thing about it except for the fact that I couldn't make phone calls by pushing the button on my steering wheel. I could get to that screen by pushing the button and then I would have to actually dial the number but I couldn't make voice calls like I can with a factory unit. Perhaps I was doing something wrong. I took it out and put the factory unit back in for now until I do a little more research.

Great quality, simple controls, clear audio: This product is very well made and feels nice and solid while using and installing. The product's screen is big but not huge, but offers a great level of brightness and clear resolution. The touchscreen has been accurate and responsive to touch, but the included buttons and knobs really enhance the user experience as it's very easy to perform common functions while driving, such as adjusting the volume or navigating to the home screen. The product's bluetooth connection with my phone has been strong and stable, with no lagging or signal dropping. The audio streams through clearly and the sound is high quality, with no volume or distortion issues so far. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

This 9" Android 14 stereo for Wrangler JL/Gladiator JT (2018–2022) feels like a major upgrade if you want a bright QLED IPS screen and wireless convenience; CarPlay and/or Android Auto connects reliably after first setup, 5G wifi/LTE support keeps maps and streaming responsive, and 4GB and 64GB makes the UI snappy. Fit and integration are solid once the CAN box is dialed in (SWC and the stock camera usually retain with the right harness), although the UI skin looks generic and the built-in mic is only fair (an external mic improves calls); install is straightforward if you’re comfortable moving trim and brackets, but the tall panel can crowd vents and shows fingerprints unless you add a matte protector. Audio takes a clear step over stock thanks to DSP/DTS tools; multiband EQ, time alignment, and sub level let you clean up staging; just know factory amplified trims may need an extra module to keep chimes and balance correct. Boot-from-sleep is quick and GPS is steady once maps cache; cold starts can add a few seconds to the wireless handshake, FM sensitivity is average, and occasional firmware quirks resolve with an OTA update or a CAN relearn. If you want a big, crisp screen with reliable wireless links and flexible tuning (and you’re fine budgeting for the proper integration harness and an external mic), this hits the sweet spot for JL/JT owners.
