I am changing my rating due to the promises of a refund. I am extremely disappointed with this radio. The listing clearly stated that it was compatible with my 2020 Jeep Wrangler, but that has not been my experience at all. While it is technically plug-and-play, it does not work properly with the factory backup camera in my Jeep—despite the description implying full compatibility. I even had it professionally installed to make sure everything was done correctly. The installer connected the aftermarket backup camera that came with the unit, and that camera has already stopped working. Now all I get is a black screen, which is especially frustrating since my Jeep has a lift and I rely heavily on the camera. To make matters worse, the sound quality is very poor. Even at maximum volume, it’s nowhere near as loud or clear as it should be. Overall, this radio has been a major letdown. I would not recommend it for anyone with a Jeep Wrangler who expects true factory compatibility or decent audio performance. Although the radio itself was technically “plug and play,” it would not work with my factory backup camera as the listing suggested. I paid a professional installer $230 to make sure everything was done correctly. The installer connected the aftermarket camera that came with the unit, and that camera has already failed — now I’m left with a black screen. When I contacted customer support, the experience was not helpful. I was barely walked through any troubleshooting, and instead was sent a YouTube link with instructions that were extremely difficult to understand due to broken English. No real support or solutions were offered.

So far it’s been working great, I had a similar one from a competitor. After 30 days it started malfunctioning, luckily they did refund me, so I purchased this one, easy to install, sounds great. I will give more details as time goes by.

I gave one star because it did come with installation kit and a free Crack on the screen in the top left hand corner but other than that save your Money and go with the awesafe 11.5 inch radio and you will not be disappointed. Reception was so bad I changed out my antenna 3x thinking it was my vehicle, I also brought a new antenna adapter and still very bad reception. Multiple connection issues that would not last, if you try connect to anything else beside the radio your going to lose connection. Sound quality is horrible also, was so bad I changed out my speakers (which was needed anyway) but even with Orion speakers I still had to have this radio at max just to hear a little sound. I added and amp for my internal speakers and also had a enclosed low profile bass sub and still couldn't produce good sound. Radio also stopped working, which was pretty much te last straw and I upgraded to the awesafe 11.5 and immediately returned this radio. No illumination, Canbus was ridiculous nothing worked , no steering wheel controls, no heat, etc. Stay away and spend more money and get a better radio

Smooth, fast, and a huge upgrade over the stock radio. The touch screen is responsive, the interface is clean, and wireless CarPlay connects instantly every time. Perfect fit on the JL dash with no gaps, and the sound quality leveled up my whole setup once I paired it with my amp and sub. If you’re trying to modernize your Jeep and keep your cockpit mission-ready, this head unit is worth it.

Not phenomenal, but honestly better then OEM. CarPlay connects faster and more reliably then the Uconnect 7" unit. Radio boots like 3x as fast as the OEM unit which was a surprise as that is normally the issue with these radios. With that, personally the launcher is ugly imo. It does not handle a different Android launcher well at all so I just gave up that plan. Ultimatly the 12v rail for amp turn on has never worked and no software setting is present, please send me a message if you have any way of making it work, just gonna give-up and use an ACC line to use as a remote turn on. Also, the OEM camera will not work out of the box, basically everything else does (next track is mapped as track back and track forward on the steering wheel does nothing, tried changing the can-bus setting multiple times and nothing has corrected this). If you want the camera working, you have to buy another module to plug in.

Connecting required some more thought and research than a plug and play should require. It looks great though I do have one problem with the screen fit though. It doesn't snap in on the top and only has the screws on the bottom to affix it to the dashboard. So the screen didnt come with snaps, but I took them off the old console and attached them to the back of the screen where they should've been and that worked to snap it in. I wish I could get the back camera working but I'll figure it out eventually.
