Purchased for 2017 Ford F-150 XL. As you can see the dash is not flat enough for the suction (which I did not attempt to use so I cannot speak to the product's suction capabilities and sturdiness) and the vent is too close to the shift to have my phone without constantly bumping it. Product stayed on vent well and was sturdy and fit my phone. It was very easy to use and install (speaking for the vent product as I did not use the suction). Check your car dash and vent to see if this product will work for you as it is a good, usable product that just did not work for my truck. Only rated 4 stars because it was not an all inclusive device and because I was unable to test it's full range. Otherwise, if you do not have these issues then I think it would be a good product. ... show more

Better quality than I expected. The construction is sturdy and the pieces are designed for rigidity. I was impressed with it's ability to expand wider for larger phones. I also like the design as it comes with options for how you want to mount the holder in your car. Well worth the money and much less expensive than many other models I saw. I will definitely be looking for other products of this maker as I begin to look for a car camera and mount. You cant do much better than this product for the price. ... show more

This has an adhesive pad on the suction cup, which I guess would give you double protection so that it doesn't fall off with the heat. It's definitely holding up well, in fact I can't get it off the windshield without tearing that pad. Unfortunately when it's mounted on the windshield it holds your phone down at an angle where it's not all that usable. It might be great on the dashboard, but I can't check that without destroying the pad. It feels like once I remove it from the windshield it won't stick to anything anymore ... show more

I drive a Freightliner and there's a reason it's nickname is freight shaker (constant noticeable vibration with engine on). I've put this on the vertical shell of dash and it will not budge. Place another on top horizontal shell of dash and again, will not budge. Did put one on windshield and had some difficulties removing it. Doesn't leave a sticky residue behind. ... show more
