It'll get you where you're going and that's all I need. It came in a very nice embossed box with car charger and suction-cup windshield mount. It has a lot of features and settings. Maps are up to date, and the company says you can download new maps as they become available. You can have it speak over an FM radio channel that isn't in use and hear the device through your car speakers. There are a few strange quirks but no dealbreakers. You can have it talk to you in several languages, both male and female voice. But there are no American English voices that will say street names. If you want it to say street names you have to pick British English, or Spanish. Even then it doesn't always say the street name. Sometimes it will, other times it says, "Turn left at the petrol station." Also, with it set to British female it won't read "Holly Ln" as "Holly Lane", it says "Holly Line". When you arrive at an address, sometimes it will display the street number and name, other times it will only display the street name. The battery does not last 6 hours like it says, (more like 2) but if you leave it plugged into the cigarette lighter it will turn on automatically when the outlet becomes active (when you start your car) and when the cigarette lighter deactivates then a timer pops up and says it will turn off in 10 seconds unless you hit cancel. I haven't yet figured out if it has active traffic information, but I saw a setting that said something about "show historic traffic" which made me think maybe it just keeps track of traffic as you drive a route a lot? But when I have run into traffic it noticed and offered to take an alternate route with time and distance changes. When you type in the name of a street, it will give you a list of cities that have that street name. So far the cities I'm looking for are usually near the top. It often says "San Francisco/Bay Area" and then the name of several towns as far away as Santa Rosa. I wish it would just say "Santa Rosa." And when I typed in "West St" it showed there were over 300 West streets. It listed every single street that started with "W" for "West". That was annoying but I don't expect to type that in very often. Overall, I'm very happy with it. And the price is lower than TomTom and Garmin, which is the only reason it's getting five stars instead of four.

I enjoy all the features this navigation system offers. With its large 7" screen it helps keep my old eyes on the road. This will be nice to have "lifetime" updates while most others you don't have this option. It's nice that it incorporates built if Bluetooth to connect to your phone for tunes and calls. What's not to like about this navigation system. I say get it.

This unit is one of the very few I found that will accommodate either a car, RV, or truck. When you set it up, you can set it up for RVs or trucks and enter not only length but weight (for weight-restricted bridges), and that is all important: weight. I tested it yesterday, and it did warn me that on my chosen route, there was a bridge with a clearance well below my stated height restriction. Very helpful, especially when one encounters unforeseen detours along a chosen route. 100% recommended.
