I started trying to print PETG with my printer. Apparently the nozzle cools a bit more on the outside than they temperature sensor would lead you to believe, so when printing with PETG, I have to turn the temps up a bit further past what is recommended for standard PTFE tubing. About the 235c mark. I haven't had major issues, but I did get a clog, and when taken apart, not so surprisingly, the PTFE tubing I originally had in it was melting and slowly starting to get sucked into the nozzle, which caused the jam. Bought this stuff knowing the name from general interest in 3d printing, knowing it "should" be better for filament flex in bowden systems. It works great. I've pumped the heat up to 250c without any issues. The XS series theoretically supports up to 340c temps. This means you can print with stuff like NylonX (haven't tried it yet) and still have a ton of headroom before the tube would melt. Simple upgrade that isn't really all that expensive, but can potentially allow you to use many more kinds of filaments.

I purchased this 1.75mm PTFE Capricorn tubing to replace the stock PTFE tubing on several MDG CR10v3s with Bondtech LGX extruders with Slicer Mosquito hotends. This arrived a little slowly but was packaged well and safely. I was immediately pleased that this order of Capricorn tubing came with several quality brass fittings (this doesn't always happen apparently) in the package. Capricorn PTFE tubing is superior in quality, inner diameter consistency, and for maintaining rigidity on bends /curves. This allows a smoother filament path for the filament to travel in. This results in cleaner prints and lower resistance on the extruder. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I have purchased three capricorn xs tubes already, the initial experience was unsatisfying and full of self errors, the bowden tube I cut was not cut straight and my filament also needed to be cut, once that was resolved I printed petg on two different types of machines, one with a through hole 1.75mm heatbreak so the tube was directly on the nozzle and one with a capricorn ptfe liner 1.75mm as well. The retraction and temperature consistency was different and certain artifacts dissappeared from my prints such as ghosting and some retraction lines and blobs, I strictly print petg filament right now and am satisfied with the finish, please take note of a couple of extra steps that need to be taken to avoid jams and pressure on the push fittings; 1) always make sure your cut is straight and clean, 2) double check filament tip if inserting different roll of filament as it can cause back pressure that may ruin certain push fittings and cause them to stop working. There are some precautions with filament changing though but they are no big deal, no cold pulls or the filament may get stuck in the ptfe tube so pull it while its hot and clean up the tip. I will definetely buy again.

I used this to replace the stock Bowden tubes on my Anycubic Mega I3 S. There was enough tubing to replace it two times. Perfect quality with zero issues. Retractions and obviously TPU printing is improved after installing this tubing. Also, printing higher temp filaments is safer due to the higher melt point of this tubing versus the stock one. If you have a Bowden tube on ANY printer it needs to be a Capricorn.

I replaced the factory bowden tube on my Ender 3 V2 with this. I have printed hundreds logged with it since installation. I've used over 5 different filament brands/colors. No clogs, no jams, across the board. So it's safe to say, this bowden tube is legit. I did use a proper bowden tube cutter. I also only have used regular PLA, no silk, textured, etc. So YMMV with other methods/materials. Regardless, I have no reason to believe what I received was fake.

This stuff worked REALLY well with my Polysmooth filament from Polymaker. My cheap 3D Hero filament... not so much. Which is a shame because before I had to change my tube, that filament was working really well for me and it was really well priced and now I have all this extra I can’t use. But I’ve tried 2 different tubes for that filament and apparently nothing but the stock Bowden tube will do. Guess it’s time to upgrade all my filament lol

Pros: Filament slides through like greased lightning. Cons: Tubing slips out of ordinary fittings easily. A great product but it is slippery, which seems to main the reason it works better than your standard translucent PTFE tubes. I learned the hard way that ordinary fittings won’t be able to hold it and got bad under extrusion and failed prints before I realized the tube was slipping. The included 1m length was fine but for my printer, but not enough for two printers. If you want a backup or extra section, a 2m length could provide enough for 3 normal printers. I was also sure to select a seller who was an authorized dealer.
