  • HOW IT WORKS BETTER: Yarna CWD48 is a Patented Water Descaler System designed to treat water for the whole house! Our descaling system treats water with electric pulses generated within the electronic unit and controlled by a micro-chip. These pulses are transmitted via our Ultra Flat Impulse Bands that are wrapped around the pipe and change the crystals in the water as it flows by, allowing for the breakdown of crystals that would otherwise buildup into limescale, which can break appliances.
  • WHO BENEFITS FROM YARNA: We serve homeowners and small businesses by reducing the negative effects of hard water and protecting appliances. Our customers report cleaner pipes and faucets, lower costs for descaling and heating, and better overall water quality. Depending on the current condition of your plumbing and how large existing limescale deposits are, it may take up to three months to observe a significant improvement.
  • EASY, CLEAN INSTALLATION: All you need is access to a minimum of 10" of free pipe space with a maximum pipe diameter of 4". Yarna water descaling system is completely DIY with no need for any tools or specialized help. Installation is simple, takes only 15 minutes and is 100% maintenance free. Our whole house water descaler works with any type of piping up to 4" thick including iron, copper, stainless steel, plastic, PVC, PE-x, and compound pipes.
  • WHY DESCALING IS BETTER THAN SOFTENING: The Yarna CWD48 Water Descaler System won't eliminate wanted minerals from the water that are good for our bodies. The patented system allows the hardness level of water to remain unchanged before and after treatment, which mitigates the negative effects such as preventing minerals from forming scale deposits, which is the main disadvantage of hard water. Unlike traditional water softeners, Yarna does not require the use of salt or any water to be wasted.
  • RISK-FREE 365 DAYS, 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: You will enjoy a limescale-free environment as long as our Yarna house water softener descaling system is installed. To that end, should you not be satisfied with the product's performance, you have a whole year to return it for a full refund!

  • Descaling Plugging Shower Heads
The product works. It was installed July of 2021 and continues to work. It appears to be descaling the pipes to the point that particles are plugging shower heads and faucets. The photo shows particles that are a little bigger than sand and are flat. Leading me to believe they are scale. My house was built in 1983 and has not had a “softener” until 2021. So there is likely a lot of scale. Proceed with the knowledge that descaling leads to the potential of particles collecting where you don’t want them. ... show more

  • Super easy to install, But display is prone to going out, But Great customer care makes up for it.
The media could not be loaded. Model-CWD48 POSITIVES: *Super easy to install, (no tools required) *Works as advertised. *Great & Fast customer service. *Beats a traditional water softener in so many ways. NEGATIVES: *It takes a while (about 6 weeks for me) to notice a significant difference in your water hardness, but it does work quite well... Until It Breaks! *The oscilloscope display is apparently prone to failure, leaving you no easy way to tell if the unit is still even functioning. Two days after I installed the 1st one, the oscilloscope display stopped working. I called customer service & they sent out a replacement the same day. They advised me that It's a known problem that they're working to fix, & that the unit IS in fact still working. I used the voltage detector on my stud finder, & found that it WAS still producing electricity, leading me to believe that it was still working. After I installed the replacement unit, it worked for about 2 or 3 months till the display stopped working AGAIN. So I checked it again, w/ my voltage detector, & although the display is dead, it too appears to still be functioning. I called customer support AGAIN, & without question, they immediately shipped out a 3rd unit that I received 2 Days Later. Because of how easy the awesome customer support team made things, & because the product does seem to make a significant difference in reducing the problems associated w/ hard water, I'm going to give it one more chance before I switch to something else. Hopefully the third time is the charm. I'll update this review after I find out how long this one lasts. ... show more

  • Easier set up, cheaper, smaller, and more effective than any other industrial Descaler.
My 4th and hopefully final descaler, purchased the Yarna CWD48 for just 100$ more than than the residential model, just from experience Phoenix residents need commercial level descalers that can handle the Phoenix water 900ppm irrigating at 50gpm. Pros: Fastest install ever, thick copper bands wind quick, outdoor waterproof , so small can put anywhere, live oscilloscope display, (I don't have to use my own oscilloscope to check status of my descaler any more. Treats up to 4" pipe, 1.2 miles, that's industrial grade , it will have no problem handling 900ppm at 50gpg I have been using electronic descalers for the past 10yrs to reduce amount of mineral build up in the kitchen and bathrooms, to make cleaning easy, and less frequent, no ring around the toilet bowl, any calcium build up on plastic shower heads wipes of with a sponge once a month or every other month. Added bonuses: my lawn irrigation drip system and sprinklers have very little build up and require little to no maintenance cleaning/changing heads, Haven't changed a drip or sprinkler head since I moved in 4yrs ago, which is rare in phoenix for drip systems have about 20 drip heads running all year and 20 sprinklers with K Rain (screw on) rotary heads. My misting system requires very little maintenance with a occasional cleaning of a few heads during the year, for a system of 40 misters with 0.3mm orifice this is unheard of in phoenix. This is my 4th electronic descaler : At first I didn't understand the importance for testing gpg/ppm which in Phoenix uses well water in the summer goes as high as 900ppm /52gpg drops to 500-600 in winter when it uses surface water. So Phoenix area residents require a descaler that will go up to at least 60gpg or 1000ppm, typical residential models are not designed for use in phoenix especially when you want to use for irrigation system which is up to 50gpm at 850ppm, you need to buy a industrial/commercial descaler or note the gpm and gpg rating if buying a residental My 1st descaler DIY PCB descaler, square wave generator - noticed enough difference that convinced me descalers do work Cons: low power 12-18Volts ,50 windings, weak inductance, constant frequency pros :great starter model for 20$ Scale Blaster residential model SB-70 - noticed a bigger difference. Pros: good product for 75$ used, would work well in northern cities Cons: had to mount indoors and runs signal wire out through wall required a lot of windings, only up to 19gpg, Industrial/commercial (SB Max older version which treats up to 100gpg) - worked excellent, great product. very expensive retail 999$ found used for 399$ ,very large had to install inside the house all though it is rated for outdoor use I couldn't find the information on heat tolerance levels and customer service via phone didn't or wouldn't give that information cause the model was discontinued, long summers of 120F create internal temps of southern exposed metal machine towards 160F I assumed that would shorten the life significantly. so I ran the signal wire through the wall and had to wrap the wire 210 windings around 3/4inch incoming copper, which was really difficult, would still be using it but after 4yrs of use the wave generator became very loud, since it was inside the house it was disrupting sleep at night, so I gave it away. (Newer model of SB-Max only treats up to 40gpg can't use in Phoenix) ... show more

  • CWD48 Water descaler in the tropics.
FYI, I have my water pumped up in the outskirts of mountains and it is very chalky which my 50 liter water-softener tank cannot even take out completely. And I don't like the extra work it brings with it. So I went for the Yarna CWD48. For protection of the device outside against the rain, hot sun and small insects I mounted everything as much as possible in the shadow inside a IP67 P.P. box and shielded the box with Al. covered foam of 5 mm. thickness. The display can be monitored through a square opening in the front. Over the opening a uv-filtering see-through perspex piece is glued with P.P. glue and taped with black duct-tape. Given the low power consumption and the cool water flowing through the pipes I assume that the device will stay below its temperature rating. Because of the frequent net-power variations and interuptions, as a precaution I added a EMI-filter before the device's power-cord. On the short term, it may be my imagination and also considering that I no longer use the water-softener, it seems that when taking a shower the water feels a little different. On the longer term I hope and expect it will do the job! ... show more

  • Not sure if it is going to work, coil leads too short
I just installed the unit. I am disapointed because I bought the largest unit for a 2" pipe and it states that the unit is good for up to 4" pipe. It also states that you have to turn the coils for at least 9 times around the pipe for it to work properly. As you can see in the picture I managed to turned the coil 5 times around the 2" pipe. At this point I guess that is useless. ... show more
