  • Low quality casting and painting, but for what you are paying these are just fine
Bought two of these in the 5 lb size, two in the 2.5 lb size. The 2.5 pound weights actually weighs 2.53 and 2.59. The 5 lb weights are a lot farther off -- 5.29 and 5.49.The casting around the hole is rough, particularly bad on one of them, but all were able to slide onto my Ohio bar. They are ugly, roughly cast and poorly painted, but the actual weight is reasonably close to the advertised weight (especially on the 2.5 size) and they were just a few dollars apiece with free shipping. I cannot complain. I wouldn't want a whole set of these, but for little fractional sizes they fit the bill exactly. ... show more

  • Rough finish but usable
Picked up 2 of the 2.5 incremental plates. They were about 30% cheaper than local stores and free shipping made it easy. The finish is a little rough on these. I have some older CAP plates that have much nicer finish. That said the weights fit well on my bar. Measured on my cheap shipping scale one came in at 2lb 7 oz, the other at 2lb 6.6 oz. Pretty close, the weight may be off due to the scale but it is fairly repeatable. If someone went over these with a file or tossed them in a tumbler before coating they would look a lot better, but for the price they work fine. ... show more

  • Not as advertised
Not as advertised. Hole too small to fit a standard sized barbell. The one that was sent to me was not the one in the photo and is useless.

  • This last batch is the most expensive and has worst finish of the bunch
I have purchased 15 of these plates over time from Walmart and Amazon with wildly fluctuating prices. This last batch is the most expensive and has the worst finish of the bunch. I have not weighed the plates but my guess is that all the casting slag left on the plates would effect the weight. But, I will keep them as the aesthetics of the plates are not really why I purchased them. ... show more

  • It is what it is- just not the size I thought
Good purchase if you just need a 2lb weight. I bought for the bottom of a toilet paper holder to keep it from falling over, but it didn’t fit.

  • Decent plates at a great cost
I'm sure these aren't true to weight, however, for the cost I don't care since it's for my garage gym. Cosmetic wise they are holding up with no chips or cracks yet, but these are also used on rubber mats and I am typically gentle with them - I doubt these would hold up getting dropped/used on concrete regularly. ... show more

  • High quality product
Rust free construction. Works pretty well with my olympic bar and lat tower. Love it.

  • Best Weight to date
It’s hard finding weights that are good quality and are at an inexpensive price. But on Amazon I landed a catch.
