Very well made canopy. I ordered this to replace my original white canopy that tore after 2 1/2 years in the constant sun and rain. The canopy was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Installing it on my original poles was simple and it fit perfectly. It came with new bungees to replace my old ones and it actually seemed thicker than my original one and I'm sure this will last for several more years, even in the hot Hawaiian sun. So much easier to install this canopy replacement cover -- the draw-string ends are GENIUS!! Three of us (one a teen) installed this canopy (with the structure pre-built) in 15 minutes! THANK YOU for the creative mind that engineered the drawstring ends instead of the fitted ends -- our family LOVE YOU!! This is my 3rd purchase last 2 time canopies survived two years of heat hail snow This third top most likely won’t last the winter 5 grommets on one side are not installed right I would have replaced it had I noticed before installing maybe I should have looked Can’t take it down now weather is coming And the seller could care less ... show more

UPDATE: I got 4 summers out of this (24 months of total seasonal usage). When I divide the purchase price by 4, I still got a pretty good value. The original top that came with the carport lasted much longer, but I can't complain. I recommend 24" zip ties or 12" ball bungees for holding it in place. Original review: The tan color hides dirt a little better that the original white cover did, and the tan is still light enough that it doesn't add heat. These canopies last about 18 months in the Arizona sun/heat. Pretty durable and very reasonably priced.

It fit perfectly over the cement slab that was once used as a driveway before the garage was converted to a den with a bay window. With this tarp, it is now our patio. It has UV protection & our friends & family enjoy sitting under it. It is very sturdy & durable. Love it!

    • Buyer beware. This is NOT a suitable replacement for the Costco "Carport Canopy" roof.
This item is fine, for what it is, *BUT* if you are looking for a replacement roof for the Costco Carport Canopy (item #781893) then this *WILL NOT WORK* for you. There are some comments and questions that claim this works fine as a replacement roof for Costco canopies, but they must be talking about the older models that were sold prior to the release of the 10' x 20' Carport Canopy. This canopy is far too large to be used with the newer "carport" canopies sold at Costco. The side grommets end up extending below the top bar of the side-wall frame, making it impossible to secure the tarp with the proper tension resulting in very significant sagging. This will result in rain-water ponding and way too much "flapping in the wind" for anyone to claim that this is even remotely "a good fit". Anyone that claims this is "good enough" or that you can "make it work" is fooling themselves. They're just too embarrassed to admit that they (like me) just wasted $92 on a tarp that won't work for them. I checked the return policy (to see if I can get my money back) and was able to do so, but I still wish I had known in advance that this would not work for me. I relied on vague comments instead of making absolutely sure it was the right size - which is totally my fault. I'm hoping this review will help others avoid the same issue. If you're looking for a replacement for your Costco Carport Canopy roof then your best bet would be to buy the replacement tarp offered online at the Costco website. Just do a Google search for "Costco Zhengte 781893 Replacement Canopy Roof Cover 10 ft x 20 ft" and follow the link to the Costco website. Yes, you can find suitable replacements on Amazon (or even eBay) but the one sold on the Costco site includes all of the necessary hardware and has the cheapest price including shipping (where as others are simply reselling the exact same item at a markup and do not include shipping). You might also want to call the manufacturer's customer service number or send them an email as referenced on the Costco item page mentioned above, or in the carport canopy owner's guide - which is available online in PDF format by doing a Google search for "zhengte usa 781893 manual pdf" and opening one of the referenced docs. ... show more

    • Replacement canopy was used for a Hercules 10x20 from Costco.
I’m still not able to rate its durability since it has been just a couple of weeks after the installation. As a replacement I expected to be a little loose. However, I would to see a reinforcement right at the top in the middle. That is where it needs to be stronger.
